Shops and restaurants can be found only 3 km away in the picturesque Estoi. At the fishermans town Olhao there’s every day a fresh fish and vegetable’s market. The most beautiful shells and the largest colony of seahorses are found in the National Park of Ria Formosa, a fifteen minute drive. Ask about the possibility of stabbing on a boat and enjoy long walks through this unique nature reserve, walk past the salt pans and spot a flamingo or one of many other birds that stay here. Given the central location of this house in the Algarve, most attractions are within an hour’s drive. A car is recommended. These can be rented from several companies at the airport of Faro.
