The Summerhouse is a retreat specifically designed and fully equipped for holidays by the sea all year round. Our guests tell us The Summerhouse is 'home from home' and perfect for couples, friends and families. The property benefits from a light airy open plan living on the ground floor encompassing a dining, kitchen and lounging area. Large sliding doors open onto a secure, private courtyard where you can play, sunbathe, BBQ, eat, drink or relax with a book to the sound of the waves breaking. There are two attic bedrooms, one double and one twin which provide a cozy sleeping environment. The ceilings are low though! The shower room is on the ground floor off the entrance hall. Your parking is off road on a shared private drive. The property is conveniently situated in a private lane just 4 mins walk from Widemouth's two fabulous Blue Flag beaches, this being the Gold Standard for beaches internationally, popular with families, surfers, walkers and sunbathers. The village has two great pubs, village farm shop which sells fantastic fresh fish and locally grown and reared produce, a fish and chip shop, as well as the beach cafe providing you with all the Cornish cream teas and ice creams you might fancy. Widemouth is situated on the South West Coast path and is a great base for exploring Cornwall on land or sea, by wave, foot, car or bike in any season. Other things to note Please note: We have been made aware our neighbours are intending to build on the land adjacent to the Summerhouse through 2022. We anticipate there will be noise during working hours and apologise in advance if this causes you any disturbance but want to be transparent from the outset so you can make an informed decision about whether to book or not. We do hope you still consider booking the Summerhouse and look forward to seeing you Due to Covid 19 we are currently implementing some additional measures which we will keep updating in line with government and Vrbo guidance: - Your key will be in the keysafe which will have been disinfected prior to your arrival. - We are either leaving the property empty for at least 72hrs between stays or using a fogging system with approved virucidal after cleaning before your stay. - The Summerhouse will be disinfected after cleaning. - Hand sanitiser is available on entry to the Summerhouse - The Summerhouse shares a driveway with our house and we are all adhering to appropriate social distancing measures
