In addition to the numerous shops and restaurants in the neighborhood, there is an open air market (clothes, flowers, leather, other items) on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm in Piazza Eroi Sanremesi and a food market and a fish market in the same place on Monday-Saturday from 6:00 am until 1:30 pm (and also on Saturdays from 4:30-7:30). San Remo has two marinas, the "old port", which is charming and has a wide variety of restaurant and food options, and the very upscale new marina, both also within walking distance from the apartment. There are several beach options available in San Remo, ranging from free beach options to full service beaches with lounge chairs/cabanas and food and beverage service - again, all within walking distance of the apartment. There is also a scenic bike path, located along the coast of the Rivera (within walking distance from the apartment), and bike rentals are available. Perinaldo, a beautiful medieval village, known for its olive oil and Cassini observatory, is a short drive/bus ride from San Remo. The Apartment is only 756 meters (1/2 mile) from the Sanremo Railway Station, Piazza Don Orione, 18038 San Remo, Italy. Trains provide easy access for day trips to villages and towns along the French and Italian Riveria, such as Monaco, Bordigheria, Ventimiglia, Cannes, etc. Trains also connect San Remo to major European destinations. Taxis are easily accessible near the apartment building, and the bus station serving the Italian and French Riveria is also within walking distance of the building.
