This comfortable, ancient apartment of 130 square meters, located on the First Noble Floor of Ca 'Bernardi (23 steps in all), very comfortable for 6 people, a few steps from Rialto, in the picturesque, lively and central area of San Polo, is built on two levels. Children under the age of 7 cannot be accommodated. It consists of a large noble room with ceilings over 4 meters high, two bedrooms (one double with a canopy bed of 160x200 cm and one with two beds that can be joined on request) and a small living room that can become a further bedroom (sofa bed with 140x200 cm mattress), a kitchen where to have lunch, a second small kitchen for aperitifs and small breakfasts on the second level, two bathrooms with shower. From the windows you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Rio dei Meloni, at the bottom of which there is also a gondola station (30 seconds from home), and - towards the inside of the building - the delightful courtyard of the Palazzo. Very close to the vaporetto line 1 (San Silvestro stop), the Five Continents Art Apartment is located in an area ideal for reaching any part of the city: Rialto is a 3-minute walk away, San Marco and the Marciana area are 18 minutes away. Ca 'D'Oro to as many, the area of Santa Maria Formosa at 15 minutes, that of the Frari and the School of San Rocco are no more than 10 minutes away. This apartment has been designed to accommodate cultured and demanding visitors, lovers of art and of every culture, to better appreciate the most beautiful city in the world and feel immersed in the relaxation of a private Venetian house even while resting. The furnishings are antique and contemporary: design lamps (Artemide, Leucos, Nemo, Vistosi, Barovier) are accompanied by seventeenth-century furniture and Asian and African textiles. But don't forget the playful aspect: in the main room there is a card table with drafts, chess and backgammon. A small library on Venice and art books in different languages, gladdens moments of relaxation. On the walls, works of modern and contemporary art, Japanese prints, engravings by Cesare Vecellio and the Italian seventeenth century: all from the family collection. The carpets are Chinese, Berber and Anatolian. The cushions are produced with ikat fabrics and come from Uzbekistan, as well as some specimens of suzani that furnish the rooms. Two televisions are in the two living rooms on the first and second floors, while the private internet line is guaranteed and enhanced by the fiber optic connection. The apartment is equipped with all types of appliances: dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, two TVs, shoe cleaner, safety hairdryer in both bathrooms, toaster, machine for Italian and "American" coffee, two water kettles, etc. Heating and air conditioning are guaranteed by a latest-generation heat pump system and split in every room. The bed linen is in linen: both winter and summer sheets and bedspreads are in elegant stonewashed linen. Three towels, a pair of slippers and a bathrobe for each guest are available. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, liquid soap, toilet paper, home paper and cleaning and cooking materials in general. A first aid kit offers the minimum protection for minor inconveniences. Umbrellas, waterproof ponchos and high water boots are also available for each guest. Bad weather will not prevent you from proceeding safely to visit the city! Guests are asked to respect the condominium context and the neighborhood. The definition "Cà Bernardi" means "home of Bernardi", a wealthy Venetian family from Giudecca, which dealt with the sale of colors and pigments.
