Do you love getting away from it all in the Australian bush but don’t want to give up the indulgence of a really comfy bed? Perhaps you’re looking for a quick and easy getaway with another couple? Then it's time to relax in your own luxury permanent tent with amazing bush and rural views. We have two brand new elegant tents with suspended Modwood timber floors, a comfy queen sized bed, your own ensuite and private deck to form the basis of your glamping experience. The tents are linked by raised bridges and decks and are separated by a quirky twelve sided, cedar clad building (yurt) becoming your kitchen and eating area. The yurt can be shared with guests from the other tent, or you can cook your meal in the well equipped kitchen and retreat to the privacy of your own deck for a more intimate experience. You'll have your own fridge and pantry facilities but if you'd like to hang out with friends or meet new ones, you can eat inside the yurt, on the deck overlooking the new dam, or down around the campfire. Enjoy spectacular sunrises and gorgeous rural views - an innovative way to enjoy nature whilst still treading lightly on the environment. The site is completely off the grid, collecting its own power and water, supplying your power and lighting requirements - even a USB outlet in each tent to charge your phone. We have utilised environmentally friendly materials and services wherever possible while still providing a luxury experience. With a hot shower in the ensuite, self catering kitchen and BBQ facilities and fresh farm supplies for breakfasts, you will find the perfect base to explore the local wineries, art galleries or ride bikes along picturesque country roads. Our 100 acres provides opportunity to walk, kayak down the river, chat with the sheep, miniature goats, chickens and ducks or just sit back, throw a line in the dam and enjoy the view. We have sealed road access and within 1/2 hour you can be in Paterson, Morpeth, Maitland and lots of Hunter Valley wineries. The Valley boasts a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Activities like hot air ballooning, sky-diving, flying lessons are available for the more adventurous. Except in the Easter and Christmas period, we offer 50% off your third night. Alternatively if you pay for three nights, the fourth night is free.
