Beautiful Cabin w Spectacular MountainViews

The Sun Lodge has spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are tucked away on a private mountain in a gated community. We are 25 minutes from Boone and it's the perfect place to relax. The lodge is just 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking trails surround us. We are about 25 minutes from Wilkesboro as well. The Wi-Fi is super fast and it makes it easy to work remotely if necessary. Our three story lodge is an OPEN floor plan. (There is only one bedroom with a door) Take the spiral staircase up to the loft nestled in the trees or take the spiral staircase down to the Bear's Lair. The loft has a queen bed with a medium firm innerspring mattress and 1/2 bath and private deck with gorgeous views, a pullout sofa and reading chair. The main floor has a well stocked kitchen with many Pampered Chef appliances, fireplace and game table and full bath. The downstairs suite has a comfy wrap around sofa and stereo television, King size bed has a firm innerspring mattress and queen bedroom has medium firm mattress. The downstairs has a full bath with jacuzzi tube. Washer and dryer. Walk out basement to double hammocks. We have several birdfeeders and hummingbird feeders. It is super fun to watch the birds flock and sometimes other critters like squirrels and raccoons. IMPORTANT: Please note the staircases are spiral and are tight. You will need to watch your step. Please keep this in mind if booking with small children or elderly travelers. There is a gas grill on the deck for your convenience. There is a gravel driveway with room for parking multiple cars. Our community is 3,000 acres with approximately 250 homes. It's private and quiet!
