Large deck with table for al fresco dining as well as furniture for lounging. Fire pit steps from the beach. The space Wildlife sightings include bald eagles, great blue herons, deer, seals, and even the occasional whale. You can walk along the secluded beach in both directions. Double kayak available for a quiet adventure. Dig for clams at low tide and dine on your catch. Outdoor recreational equipment includes badminton, soccer ball, frisbee, and slammo (spike ball), ladder toss, etc. Or just hang out in the hammock and listen to the sea. Whidbey Island has much to offer. Stroll quaint downtown Coupeville and pick up a souvenir, afternoon ice cream, or romantic dinner. Explore the new Price Sculpture Forest. Hike at Ebey’s Landing, South Whidbey State Park, or Deception Pass. Walk around the battlements or the light house at Fort Casey. Fly a kite at Fort Ebey state park. Take in a local festival or farmers market. Walk onto the Port Townsend ferry for a fun day trip. Please be aware that there are 50 steps from the parking area to the house.
