Our home was built in 1900 but recently renovated so this home is the perfect cross between historic and modern. Loaded kitchen, king and queen beds, AC and heating units in every room, full laundry room, and spacious living area with a great open layout for all to enjoy. Cleanliness and safety in our home is always our number one priority, and want to personally assure you that we have expanded our already strict cleaning protocols and added additional housekeeping staff to take extra precautions between guests. We are sanitizing all high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, faucets, and handles and opening windows and doors to allow fresh air to circulate. This home is best suited for guests seeking a quiet retreat in the city. If you are looking to have a "festive" vacation and a place to party, this home would not be a great fit. Additionally, we do enforce a strict 9 PM quiet hours daily to be courteous to our neighbors upstairs. Early check-ins are available per request for a small $65 fee! Ask for availability first! The home is a part of a duplex with another unit upstairs. Both units have their private entrances and do not share any common spaces. The Neighborhood: Our charming neighborhood is walking distance to multiple coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Pickup an electric scooter or electric bike around the neighborhood and enjoy a ride around town. Ride through our state capitol, have a picnic at one of our 28 parks, or enjoy sunset ride back from dinner at one of our many award-winning restaurants. There is a small temporary construction site behind the property to be aware of. Construction will only be active between 7 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday and sometimes on Saturdays. The noise is very minimal and guests have yet to complain about any inconvenience regarding it. We are confident you can still enjoy your stay amidst the small disturbance! Getting Around: Most guests find it very convenient to walk to local bars and restaurants. Picking up an electric scooter on Lime is also a very popular option. Uber and Lyft are also available if needed. There is also free parking available on the street if you are driving in or renting a car for your time here.
