Whiptail House was architecturally designed to capture the best views overlooking Maleny towards Maleny Dairy. It is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with expansive living/dining/kitchen area. The house is bathed in light thanks to the many windows that also each offer a unique view. It is set high on the block and backs on to farmland, but is still only a quick 10 minute walk in to town using the Maleny Boardwalk. The four bedroom, two bathroom house provides a modern, clean and quiet living space in a garden setting. The front door opens into the downstairs entrance with stairs to the front and laundry to the right. At the top of the stairs is the open plan kitchen-dining-lounge area. The kitchen has high end appliances, including a fridge, ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is ample cupboard and countertop space and it is finished off with stone benchtops. All crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle, pots and pans and coffee machine are provided. In the living area, a wood burning stove provides more than enough heat for the house and wood and kindling are provided. The lounge area is to the left with a large television and free Netflix and Stan, and the dining area is to the right. A large ceiling fan ensures you remain cool no matter what the weather, and there is a large Reverse Cycle Air Conditioner to both heat and cool the house. The front wall of the living area is made up of a full width window and sliding door that opens up on to the large deck offering panoramic views of Maleny all the way up to Maleny Dairy. There is a large outdoor table and chairs and a Weber Gas BBQ on the front deck. The deck wraps around the front of the house and the main bedroom has sliding door access to it. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the same level as the living area. Bedroom 1 faces North East and overlooks Maleny. The other 3 bedrooms all face South West and overlook the neighbouring farm behind the house. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and the Master Bedroom also has a reverse cycle airconditioner. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed. Bedrooms 2 and 4 have a double bed and bedroom 3 has 2 singles. All linen is provided and all bedrooms have their own convection heater and extra blankets. Bedroom 1 has a large en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, double vanity and toilet. The second bathroom also has a bath, a large rain shower and a double vanity. The toilet is next to, but separate, to the bathroom. Towels, mats and bathroom amenities are provided. There is a second undercover seating area downstairs leading on to the front garden. The washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the downstairs laundry and a washing line at the back of the house behind the carport. * A small complimentary hamper of local produce (as much as possible) is provided for you which includes fresh-baked bread, seasonal fruit, Maleny yoghurt, muesli, butter, eggs, Maleny milk and orange juice. We also provide a selection of teas and coffee pods. * Wood for the indoor fire is provided free of charge. In winter, the fire will be made up, the wood cradle filled and a bucket of kindling and some firelighters will be left upstairs. More wood and kindling is available in the carport. * The house is situated high on a hill, which gives it exceptional views, but it means that the driveway is steep. * Small pets (less than 10kg) are welcome. A maximum of two pets is allowed. Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. As the property is not fenced, dogs are not allowed outside on their own. We do ask that you not leave your dog at the home alone for long periods of time but understand that sometimes you have to for a couple of hours (e.g. going out to dinner). Please enquire about larger pets.
