Located in a historical building dating back to 1885, your apartment was the Parisian residence of a French aristocratic family until the early 20th century. From that era you can enjoy the luxury high ceiling, handmade golden moldings and the antique mirror and fireplace. It has been perfectly renovated to accommodate the heritage of the past with contemporary comfort. The Space: Our Anti-Covid cleaning ensures the strict implementation of sanitation practices : - Hospital-grade disinfectant cleaning on all surfaces - Use of sprays, liquids, and disinfecting wipes to control a variety of pathogens including Covid-19 - Disinfectant cleaning of mattresses, blankets, bedsheets, curtains, sofas and chairs. - Extra cleaning of frequently touched surfaces : door handles, tables, kitchen, appliances, remote controls - Professionally-trained cleaning staff wearing protection equipment (mask, gloves) Modernized by a famous French Architect, the place mixes contemporary French Design and Antiques from Paris famous craftsmen. The sleeping arrangement is organized as follow, all bed & bath linen being provided : Bedroom 1 with a 5***** double-bed high comfort mattresses Bedroom 2 with a 5***** double-bed high comfort mattresses Living Room with one high quality sofa bed for two The apartment is equipped with : TV, high speed Wifi a washer dryer, a hair dryer a nespresso coffee machine, a water boiler, a toaster a fridge, an induction plate, a micro-wave, pans and other cooking wares a baby bed if needed In 1795 when Napoleon arrived in Paris, he settled down in a residence next to our building. The name of the street today is one of Napoleon’s era most epic battles. Our neighbourhood is a place steeped in history from where you can discover Paris, enjoy a cup of coffee or simply taste one of the French restaurants a few meters from your Parisian home. You can walk in this central and beautiful neighborhood, discover the Louvre Museum 5 minutes away, its Tuileries Garden, go to Le Marais or stop in one of the many bakeries and cafés to enjoy warm baguette and freshly brewed coffee. Guest Access: Easy access : 5 days before your arrival, we will send you all the information regarding the access of the apartment including a detailed video that will explain you how to get inside the building and the apartment. The Neighborhood: Between Louvre Museum, Notre Dame and Le Marais, the apartment is in the most central neighbourhood of Paris. The district is the vibrant center of the Parisian life. The apartment is located near the “Place des Victoires”, built in 1685 to celebrate the military victories of Louis XIV. Today the center of the square still holds a statue of Louis XIV riding a horse. This area is home to many Palaces built by the French aristocrats during the last centuries. Our neighbourhood is a place steeped in history from where you can discover Paris, enjoy a cup of coffee or simply taste one of the French restaurants a few meters from your Parisian home. From the apartment, you can walk a few minutes on Louvre Street to reach the Louvre Museum. The neighborhood is very safe with the French National Bank 200m away from the apartment. Getting Around: 3 minutes : Metro Station, line 3 5 minutes : Metro Station Châtelet Les Halles, lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14 and RER A, B and D. 5 minutes : Car Park Indigo, 40 Rue Dussoubs, 75002 Paris Airports : to come / go to CDG or ORY airport : Direct with RER B to the station Châtelet Les Halles. Other Things to Note: Check-in / Arrival : from 4pm => From 2pm you can leave your luggages in the apartment. The cleaning lady comes to clean the apartment between 11am and 4pm. The apartment will be fully ready at 4pm. If you arrive early in Paris, we can indicate you a paid locker service next to the apartment. Check-out / Departure : until 11am => On the day of departure, you can leave your bags in the apartment until noon while the cleaning is being done. After noon, we can indicate you a paid locker service next to the apartment. We do not serve breakfast. Cleaning is done before each arrival and after each departure only. As you know, we are in a heritage building with sensitive neighbors. Please be careful during your stay to the house rules : - no smoking - no drugs - no parties - no music - no persons other than those who have registered their identity cards - no noise in the common areas of the building - no animals - no professional photo or video shoots If one of the above house rules is broken: - A penalty of the full amount of the deposit will be charged. - The reservation will be cancelled as soon as the infraction is noticed and you will no longer be able to stay in the apartment. Moreover, if the keys of the apartment are lost, 170€ will be charged. Interaction with Guests: I am very responsive on all your requests and can come easily if needed.
