Petit Gîte (2-3 p.) on 18th century estate

This Gite is part of the 17th century estate Logis de Beaulieu, which features woods, fields, meadows, three lakes, and a stunning infinity pool. It is located on the northern slope of a small valley and an ideal place for families. The Gîte has a small private terrace and garden for eating and sunbathing. In the neighbor courtyard, there is another Gîte rental, and the Château. Please take a look at the overview-photo in our photos.  A charming one bedroom Gite with a large living space and open kitchen. It has a large fireplace, wooden beams, and tiled floors.  Guests staying in the Gite have privacy of a small garden. They also have access to the entire estate including its lovely walks, the lake with its rowing boat, the tennis court, and of course the stunning infinity swimming pool. Note: the tennis court is not of a professional standard.  Our wonderful caretakers, who live onsite, welcome the guests and are available for any questions you might have.  Beaulieu is situated at the southern edge of the Charente Departement. The region is a charming hilly landscape with vineyards, pine, oak, and chestnut forests, grain and sunflower fields. The Charente is also home to the famous brandy Cognac, which is worth discovering. Easily accessible for the Atlantic coast with beautiful beaches as well the city of Bordeaux.  Bordeaux Merignac airport offers flights across Europe. The airport is about an hour's drive away from Beaulieu, and there are different rental car companies to pick up a car. The nearest TGV train station is in Angouleme, which is about 30 minutes away. You can find car rental companies here as well.  There are three other holiday rentals on the estate: The Château in the main courtyard, the gîte holiday rental in the neighbor courtyard, and the cottage Saint Germain in the valley.
