A short walk up the beach is a delightful children’s playground and stroll in the other direction to fish off the jetty or dine at the new Rick Stein Restaurant, called Bannisters Port Stephens. The children will spend hours swimming in the water, digging in the sand and playing games on the beach or grassy reserve. This brand new holiday home has impeccable finishes, furnishings and decor. Inspired by its blessed beach-front position, the cottage has classic coastal chic styling and a relaxed Hampton's vibe. There’s a hardwood deck at both the front and back of the property. The deck overlooking the beach and water features comfy outdoor furniture and a Weber BBQ. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room all look out, through floor to ceiling/wall to wall glass, to the sparkling blue water of the bay and open onto the decks. The Beach Shack is ideal for two couples to share or a family with up to four children. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, TV, opens onto the deck and enjoys the wonderful beach and water views. The second bedroom also opens onto the deck and takes in the glorious ocean views, has zip-bed, meaning it can be separated into two extra long single beds or be joined to make a full sized king bed - simply nominate your preference upon booking. The lounge room has a sofa bed suitable for two people. The Beach Shack on Wanda is on an oversized block of land allowing plenty of off street parking for cars and room at the side of the cottage for a boat and water toys. Every room has a split system air conditioner and louvred windows to take advantage of the lovely sea breezes, and ceiling fans. There’s an outdoor hot/cold shower and even the original outside toilet, both handy for sandy beach bodies. The suburb’s local shops are only a couple of minutes drive away and include all the essentials, like small supermarket, bottle shop, chemist, butcher, cafe and the area’s best fish’n’chip shop - Salt Mine. The home is in close proximity to all the wonderful attractions and activities Port Stephens has to offer. Nelson Bay’s town centre, is only a 10 minute drive away, as is the popular D’Albora Marina, where you can hop on a dolphin or whale watching cruise or stop into the fresh seafood markets. LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Doonas (with decorative covers), blankets and pillows are also supplied.
