This is a historic 2 bedroom, mid terraced house which sleep a maximum of 5 persons. It is located in East Belfast, 2km to Titanic area and SSE arena, it has an abundance of bus routes. It is near to George Best City airport, Stena Belfast port & Central train station. It is deceptively spacious, 100+ yr old property mid terrace, once owned by a Titanic "Boilermaker", modernised to a high standard. Recently renovated, with a new heating system installed and new carpets. This property boasts 2 reception rooms, one is a living room the other used as a dining room (seating 4/5). There are 2 double bed bedrooms with a additional single bed (this is NOT a pullout bed) in the larger front bedroom. The equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, electric hob, extractor fan, microwave, fridge/ freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The whole house has been redecorated October 2021. The washroom was remodelled in Feb 2017 and has a large walk in shower, WC and vanity wash hand basin. The spacious back yard is for smokers. Please respect this is a non smoking house. An iron & ironing board, hairdryer are also included for your convenience. Fresh clean towels, fresh clean bed linen and toilet rolls are supplied. If your stay is longer than 7 days, the bed linen and towels will be changed on the 7th day. On street parking is on first come first served basis. You will generally be able to park right outside the door. Hot water is 24/7. The heating is available and accessible . HISTORY April 15, 1912 is a synonymous date in any historian's mind. Everyone knows the story. However did you know, having conducted some research on this property, it was once owned/ occupied by Henry Moneypenny, a Boilermaker who worked at The Shipyard in 1911 during the construction of the Titanic. He lived here with his wife Annie and two sons who also worked at the shipyard. According to the 1911 census it was deemed 1st class housing due to the number of rooms and windows in the property. There is also a memorial plaque at the top of the street junction with Templemore Avenue, commemorating Ennis H Watson who worked in the shipyard and died on the Titanic's maiden voyage. Guest access You have access to: Complimentary wifi and 32" Smart Freeview TV. Washing machine/laundry facilities. Please note, NO dryer. Electric oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave and washing up sink with hot and cold water. Newly installed dishwasher. Clean bed linen supplied. Clean towels and toilet roll supplied. Tea, coffee, sugar and cooking oil incl. Washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels included. Iron and ironing board. Hairdryer. Finally, newly installed USB charging ports are in each bedroom. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. Please ask in advance if needed. No Interaction with guests I now have a self-check in arrangement with a key lock box. The code will be supplied a few days before you arrive. I respect your privacy. However if you need my assistance with anything I am readily available and only a short journey away. I do ask if you have any issues, to try and contact me before 20:00hrs. - Strip used bedding (base sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase) -Please check out any time before 10am. -Please ensure all lights are switched off. -Lock up and post keys back through the letter box on your departure.
