"Villa Gustav" - Upper apartment with balcony

ED Refnr. 2561117 Villa Gustav is a Swedish-owned villa with two large apartments. The house is located in the town of Senj on Croatia, close to the sea and town center. To the sea and the nearest beach it is only 300 meters. Villa Gustav is located on a hillside with a lovely view of the Adriatic Sea. The house was completely renovated during 2018-2021 and has Scandinavian standards and style. Here you find everything you can wish for, and we hope Villa Gustav will be a paradise where our guests can have a relaxing time and enjoy life. Villa Gustav has been completely renovated during the years 2018-2021. The entire inside has been redone with new electricity, new water and sewage. New bathrooms, toilets and kitchens. New windows, doors and floors. Everything is newly painted and fresh. New air conditioners in each bedroom and new furnishings in all rooms. The outside of the house has also been renovated where we built a new larger balcony, the whole house has been given a new facade and painted. Each floor has two large electric awnings. All windows have got new shutters. All walkways have been paved; the large terrace of 70 square meters, the balcony of 30 square meters, the walkway around the house, at the entrance and the stairs down to the street. The wall around the house has been painted and given roof tiles. The garage has also been renovated with a new facade and new large garage doors. The garden has been tidied up, all the fences have been painted and an outdoor shower has been installed. The only thing left is new roofing, which will be fixed in a few years. The house is in perfect condition, modernly furnished and there is a free magical sea view from both floors, the terrace and the balcony. Both have their own entrance from outside. The apartments are almost identical. The apartments are approximately 80 square meters each, have six beds divided into three bedrooms, combined kitchen and dining area, a bathroom with shower and toilet and one separate toilet. All bedrooms have air conditioning (AC). All windows have ventilation function as well asjalusiesthat can be pulled down to darken the room. The oceanfront rooms have large sliding windows that open onto theterrace / balcony. The lower apartment has a terrace of 70 square meters. The upper has a balcony of 30 square meters. Both the terrace and the balcony have large awnings to create shade which is much needed during the really hot days. There is also an outside shower where you can cool off when you get home from the beach. The shower is available to all guests. The house has its own garage, with one parking place per apartment. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is strictly prohibited both indoors and outdoors in order not to create discomfort for neighbors in the other apartment. Please note that only towels for shower are provided. Beach towels have to be brought by the guests. We will not accept tenants below the age of 25.Of course, families with children and young people are warmly welcomed. Theboard walkin Senj is adapted for the disabled with new, nice ramps so that disabled people can easily get in and out of the water. To get to Villa Gustav you have to get up for a staircase and there is no ramp. The town Villa Gustav is located in Senj in Croatia’s northern archipelago. Senj is a coastal city and tourist resort by the Adriatic Sea between Rijeka and Zadar. The city has about 8000 inhabitants and is located in Lika-Senj County. Senj is a historic city in the northern part of the Adriatic coast at the foot of the slopes of the Kapela and Velebit mountains. This city with a heroic past is recognizable by the historic fortress of Nehaj on the hill above the city. Every stone tells a history; the historic old town, the tower, the city museum. Clean ocean, beautiful beaches and many entertainment events such as winter and summer Carnivals and festivals make this an attractive tourist destination.Senj has both coast, mountains and lush vegetation with clean water and clean air. The Adriatic Sea is one of the world’s cleanest seas. Croatia is also called “the land of the thousand islands”. Distances to major cities: Rijeka 60 km, Trieste 140 km, Zagreb 160 km, Ljubljana 180 km, Zadar 170 km. In the towncentrethere are numerous restaurants, cafés, bakeries, drugstores, butcher’s shopandfish shop as well as other shops with clothing, souvenirs etc. There is also a market with lots of fruit and vegetables andinthe weekends there is a bigger market. InSenjyou will also find a pharmacy, banks with ATM, post office etc. Between the old town and Villa Gustav, right next to the old city wall, there is one large Konzum and one large Plodine supermarket. There you will find everything that you could possibly need. To the citycentreit is about 1400 meters and the supermarkets are 800 m away from our house. If you decide to come to our house, we will give you the names of ourfavouritespots. Climate Senj has a subtropical Mediterranean climate with warm dry summer and mild moist winters. With around 2700 hours of sunshine per year, Croatia is one of the sunniest places in Europe. Activities Senj has a longboard walkwhere you can bathe. In addition, there are several beaches consisting of mostly pebbles and rocks. You can find secluded beaches as well as going to larger beach areas with numerous activities, various water sports, playgrounds anda lotsof places for food and drink. It is great to hike, climb or cycle in Croatia. In the house and at the tourist information you will find brochures with information about hiking and cycling routes. If you wish to make a day excursion, we recommend Plitvice Lakes, a famous national park with a large lake system with 16 lakes and many beautiful waterfalls. Plitvice Lakes is a 1.5-hour drive from Senj. Plitvice Lakes are part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List.Another great destination is Zavratnica. Zavratnica is a 900 meter long, narrow cove located at the foot of the mighty Velebit mountains, 1 km south of Jablanac. The bay is about 50-150 m wide. On the bottom of thebaythere is a German cargo pram from World War II. A perfect place to snorkel!Croatia’s capital is Zagreb, but Rijeka is also a big center. Rijeka is Croatia’s third largest city and is about 45 minutes away. It takes about an hour to go to Slovenia and two hours to Italy. The Adriatic Road connects Senj via Rijeka with Central Europe while the sea connects Senj with the whole world.
