In the enchanting Archipelago of La Maddalena, private owner rents fantastic traditional villa set amidst abundant nature. Direct access to the sea, private beach, quay with solarium and spacious terraces. Wood-fueled oven and outdoor showers. Breathtaking view of the Isuleddu Bay and of Caprera. -The House is on two floors, completely renovated with prestigious fittings, with: large entrance hall – living room – lounge with open fireplace – 5 bedrooms - 4 bathrooms – spacious kitchen – laundry room – 3 terraces -Sleeps totally: 10 persons The villa is on La Maddalena, the island that lends its name to the enchanting archipelago which was made a National Park in 1994. The archipelago is made up of 7 major islands (La Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and Razzoli) and about 60 minor islands. Internationally famous for its splendid beaches and the fantastic colour of its waters, it is characterized by fantastic natural setting. Apart from the island of La Maddalena, the agglomerate of Stagnali in Caprera and a few houses on Santa Maria, the archipelago is completely deserted, with landscape and environmental features of particular importance. The 180 km of the archipelago’s coastline hosts some of the most famous and atmospheric beaches in the Mediterranean, including: the Spiaggia Rosa del Cavaliere in Budelli, the Spiaggia del Relitto and Cala Coticciu, also known as Tahiti, in Caprera, as well as Cala Corsara and Cala Granara in Spargi. The Spiaggia Rosa (Pink Beach), symbol of the Park, was used by Michelangelo Antonioni in the film “Deserto Rosso” (Red Desert) for the extraordinary colour of its sand. The archipelago also offers numerous attractions for those who wish to devote a little time to discovering its historical and cultural curiosities: -it was the last home of the Hero of the Two Worlds, Giuseppe Garibaldi, who built the famous “White House” on Caprera, now open to the public as a museum -the forts of Caprera can be an interesting place for walks and excursions in the fantastic Mediterranean scrub that covers the island -the old town centre of La Maddalena, with the old harbour of Cala Gavetta, is a lively and pleasant place where all the amenities required by those staying on the island can be found. From here you can also enjoy a delightful walk after a day of sun and sea, perhaps participating in one of the numerous events organized in the summer. 45 minutes by car - included the ferry crossing from La Maddalena to Palau, the nearest port on Sardinia island - to the luxurious yacht port of Porto Cervo and to reach most beautiful beaches of Costa Smeralda and Gallura. The airport closest to La Maddalena is Olbia – Costa Smeralda; alternatively, it can also be reached easily from Alghero airport (Fertilia). The Sardinian ports best placed to reach La Maddalena are Olbia, Golfo Aranci and, a little further away, Porto Torres. Connections are guaranteed all year round. Keywords: House
