Enjoy a nice vacation at the foot of the Belluno Dolomites! The Belluno Dolomites Park (UNESCO heritage site) is crossed by the High Routes of the Dolomites n. 1 and n. 2 and a network of over 200 km of CAI trails. Numerous bike paths and endless roads climbing the mountains make the area one of the most popular destinations for cyclists (bike rental and e-bikes near the house). At 40 km is lake Santa Croce, an important tourist destination for sailing, wind surfing, kitesurfing, fishing sport. For winter sports lovers the nearest ski area with downhill slopes and extensive cross-country skiing trails is Mount Avena (6 km) and a little further Mount Nevegal (30 km) for cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering. For art and culture lovers there are many interesting cities: starting from Feltre, a walled city that climbs up the hill dominated by the castle, passing via Belluno (25 km), where testimonies of different periods coexist, you can reach the main Venetian cities: Treviso (60 km), between canals and frescoed facades; Vicenza with its Palladian palaces (85 km); Padua (90 km) with the botanical garden, the charming Venice (100 km). Not to forget the rich eno-gastronomic offer: next to the numerous trattorias and restaurants, from spring to autumn, in the surrounding villages there is a succession of festivals dedicated to local products.
