The Byres is a delightful boutique farm cottage set on 3 acres of manicured gardens in Far Meadow. Once a dairy farm, the property has stunning views over rich farmland and it's own magnificent lawns and beautiful gardens. The Byres is just a 10 minute drive to both the historic Berry township and the surf patrolled beach at Shoalhaven Heads. Quiet roads make it ideal for cycling enthusiasts and the nearby Broughton Creek and Shoalhaven Rivers are perfect for fishing and water activities. The property is perfect for 3 couples or a family with 3 bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom. It will appeal to those who appreciate quality and comfort. Recently renovated, the cottage has beautiful new furniture, including 5 star hotel beds and a fully appointed kitchen and wi-fi. The cottage has a slow combustion fireplace, reverse cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans in the lounge and every bedroom making it cosy in winter and cool in the warmer months - all these lovely creature comforts running off solar power! A large sun-drenched courtyard, complete with a chimenea, dining table, gas BBQ and an outdoor spa, has glorious views and is an ideal place to enjoy a coffee or that glass of wine from one of the local wineries. Single level living, with no steps and parking at the front door, makes the property ideal for mature visitors and families with young children. A purpose built enclosure, with great shelter, and high quality fencing around the whole property, allows you to take your dog on your holiday and be sure it will be safe and comfortable. Dogs must remain outside the home for the duration of the stay, they are welcome to sleep in the laundry at night time. Kids can enjoy the inbuilt soccer field and table tennis table, trampoline or just explore the wonderful gardens. Or take a ride down the lane on the bikes at the property, there are 3 adult bikes, 1 children's bike, plus helmets (due to fit, it may be best to bring your own helmet), or enjoy the property whilst using the gym equipment. Please note the following before booking ~ All bookings with a dog will incur an addiotnal charge of $50, guests MUST advise booking agent of this when confirming booking. Bookings from 19 December through to 27th January Please note - we do not accept any back to back bookings during this time. If there is guests checking IN or OUT backing onto dates you have selected online we will ask to you move your booking back one day before confirming the details. Bookings made for a Thursday and Friday nights or Sunday and Monday nights are charged at the full weekend tariff ** Bookings commencing on a Sunday or Public Holiday will incur a $150 sundry charge Firewood is provided from Easter Long weekend - October long weekend
