SKI-ING The Grand Massif ski area is one of the largest, and most scenic ski areas in France. It is renowned for it’s remarkable snow record due to the close proximity of Mont Blanc and is in the Top 3 snow sure resorts in France. The area consists of the 5 villages of Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoens, Sixt fer a Cheval and the high altitude resort of Flaine which are all linked. There are 265km of pistes, 78 lifts, 133 slopes with 15 green, 53 blue, 51 red and 14 black along with some of the best off-piste skiing around. Flaine (maximum height 2,500 metres) is the gate to one of the biggest ski and snowboard areas in France, aptly named ‘Le Grand Massif’.
