It is close to the sea and beaches, between the cities of Narbonne and Béziers. Only 18km from Minerve, a magnificent listed village, Argeliers is a strategic starting point for your holidays. It is a pretty village with lots of shops, located on the border of the Aude and Herault, between Lézignan-Corbières and Narbonne, with a nice port built on the Canal du Midi, which is listed by World Heritage of UNESCO which makes for a lovely location for a relaxing stroll. Many activities and outings are offered to you to explore the heritage of the village and its surroundings: you can follow the Canal aboard a houseboat: it is one of the most beautiful and oldest in Europe, its banks are mostly shaded which is welcoming to cyclists. There are many other cycling courses accessible to the whole family in the area. The castle of Argeliers, dating from the 17th century and other listed monuments of France are also worth a visit, with its Renaissance architecture.
