Upper Calffield Farm is an extremely spacious property set in beautiful countryside but not remote - the village pub is close by and a wide range of shops and beaches are within a 10/15 minute drive. The property is ideally suited to a large party and is popular all year around, especially Christmas, New Year and Easter as well as the summer months. The farmhouse has a huge sitting room which oozes character with exposed beams, natural stone walls and two sitting areas each with a woodburning stove as their focal point. The kitchen has cream painted wooden units, a lovely slate floor and a large oak table seating 10 (11 at a push!) with views of the garden and paddocks. The property is wifi enabled with fibre optic broadband and NOW TV. The master bedroom suite has a dressing room and its own shower room. It is double aspect with a full length picture widow commanding views of the paddocks and woodland. There are two other double bedrooms and a small double bedroom (4 ft bed) upstairs and a master bathroom. Downstairs we have a single bedroom and a twin bedroom with zip and link beds so they can become a king. The single and twin rooms share access to a Jack and Jill ensuite shower room with safety non slip flooring, a large walk in shower with grab rail, vanity unit and WC. The single bedroom has views of the garden and the twin has views of paddocks and fields. The cottage garden is well stocked with plants and flowers; it is south facing so gets plenty of sun and is equipped with garden furniture - table and chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue. The log cabin games room in the garden contains a table tennis table, sofa and TV as well as a table and chairs so ideal for board games. The paddocks are home to three Shetland ponies, much loved by visiting children. We also have visiting horses and sheep depending on the time of year. This area of Pembrokeshire is renowned for its superb coastal paths for walkers. The huge sandy beaches offer activities such as surfing, wind carting and horse riding. Fishing and golf are also available nearby and there are boat trips to the islands to see the puffins and other seabirds. St Davids with its famous cathedral and delightful fishing villages such as Solva and Littlehampton are within twenty minutes and offer plenty of pubs and restaurants. Narbeth offers a delightful shopping experience with its bohemian shops, perfect for browing and the county town of Haverfordwest has a wide range of shops and supermarkets with everything you could possibly need.
