Mountain house with valley view - Vale

The wide balcony in the Casa do Vale offers a magnificent view over Cerdeira’s Brook valley. The ideal choice for all of those who treasure tranquillity and direct contact with nature. The entrance door on the ground floor leads directly into a welcoming social space with a kitchen, a dining table and a cozy living space with a traditional wood burner, an armchair and a sofa bed. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed, a working desk - ideal for writers - and a bathroom. The windows welcome the morning sun. If you get lucky you can also see some deer as they rummage through the forest. A truly inspirational house, enriched by the contribution of ceramists Vasco Baltazar and Zita Rosa. Like all the other houses in Cerdeira, the Casa do Vale has been restored using ecological and regional materials and favoring the use of local contractors. All houses have central heating and offer great comfort, both in winter and summer. To guarantee that you make the most out of the village’s quietness, we have chosen not to install TVs or radio in any of the houses.
