NEW: Stubai Super Card = Included FREE. Value: €200+ per person per week! Free lift passes (& much more) for everybody for your WHOLE STAY in Summer. Brand new luxury ground floor apartment perfect for fun-loving families / friends. Featuring a 3 metre cinema, high-tech lighting and an über-sized, comfy sofa. Top-notch Italian granite kitchen, underfloor heating... Sauna area, luxury hot-tub, man-cave & climbing grotto come as standard too, of course ;) Schlick 2000 ski resort is walkable! The bedrooms are cosy and tastefully styled. All benefit from underfloor heating. The 'Master Bedroom' has a beautiful Zirbe (Swiss Pine) floor and a super-king sized box-spring bed backed by a Zirbe wall hiding its private entry to a walk-in changing room and exclusive bathroom with large walk-in rainfall shower. The super-king can be split into two single beds. The 'Family Bedroom' also boasts a super-king bed (180cm), along with a bunk bed. Again, the super-king is splittable, so you could also happily sleep 4 single adults here. There is an adjoined bathroom (which is also used by the 'Cute Double Bedroom' guests. It boasts a huge bathtub with massage jets, LED lighting etc. The third bedroom ('Cute Double') is a much smaller space, but has a lovely vibe, and you still feel rather grand with the thick spring mattress, and a library of quality books beside you. There is also the man-cave, which is actually more of a gaming room (large TV with Nintendo 64 plugged in), but can be used for sleeping if desired. It is underground (with no windows), but it does have it's own private floor-heated climate control, so the room is kept at any temperature for your comfort. There's an electric drum kit down here (with headphones), and the sofa-bed for 4-Player Goldeneye, of course. The kitchen is huge. Comfortable seating at the solid dining table for 12 people. The massive Italian granite island and other work surfaces lend it a sophisticated edge, and it has the best utilities / facilities (bread maker / wine fridge / George Foreman / cheese, oil and chocolate fondues / raclette / coffee machines etc etc). Built in ceiling speakers and individually controllable coloured lighting throughout let you change the mood of the room within seconds. There's even a (not quite finished yet) wine cellar which rises out of the floor. You can also have fun commanding Amazon's Alexa, which is installed here, to give you recipes, tell stories, play music and answer questions! The living room has a stunning log-fireplace which can be seen from throughout the flat, and coupled with an enormous sofa, makes for the cosiest of indoor winter days with your family. We have a brilliant collection of board games to curl up and play, and a 3D projector with a number of 3D Blu-Ray movies to watch on the 300cm (!) drop down screen. The iconic Scandyna speakers hang from the ceiling, providing such a glorious sound for playing your favourite music on Spotify premium (or Netflix movies) - which are both included in your stay here. For the gamers amongst you, there's also a PS4, Wii and X-Box360 plugged into the projector. In other rooms, the Nintendo 64 and SNES should keep you busy! Again, we provide enough games there ;) There is also a hidden, lockable door running directly off the living room into a large sauna area. You can go through here to share the usage (with gusts from DMG's other 2 apartments) of the sauna, chillout SNES wave above it, multiple showers and ice cold bucket shower. Again, the room has beautiful Harman Kardon speakers, and a lovely stone jungle theme. Through the large panorama windows which look directly over the forest behind the house, there's a terrace which catches the morning sun, and leads down to a cute little garden with a first class hot tub (which costs €23,000!) a large gas BBQ and seating for 10. The hot tub is always hot and ready for you, as is another Games Room down a few more steps (Basketball, Climbing, Darts, Table Tennis, Billiards). As is the case with the sauna room, these two areas are shared between you and the other guests from the flats above. Simply lock your living room door and you're all private again (or book out all 3 apartments!!) You will get the entire ground floor flat (as described in 'The Space') exclusively for yourselves. You have your own entrance and keys etc. It is a purpose built rental-flat. The flat is 150m² in size (170m²+ if you include the shared sauna room) I live at my girlfriend's house a lot of the time, but that isn't far away, so I can pop by if required. You'll have my phone number and can call / whatsapp me at any time for questions. The location is hard to beat. It's nestled within one of Austria's most spectacular valleys, Stubaital, and surrounded by some of the country's highest peaks and top ski resorts. It's a 10 minute drive from Innsbruck (dubbed 'the heart of the Alps'), and is abundant with adventure activities of all kinds from Olympic bobsleigh to paragliding right over the village. The 100km+ of pistes in the valley's four main resorts are impeccably maintained. Schlick 2000 is accessible via a 15 minute walk from the chalet (or free bus), and the Stubai Glacier (snow guarantee 10 months of the year), Elfer, and Serlesbahnen are all accessible by a free shuttle bus that stops right next to the chalet. 100% snow guarantee! You can ski and snowboard at the Stubai Glacier every month of the year except July & August. The summer activities are equally bountiful – hiking, biking, lakes, mountain carting, and rock climbing to name but a few. I've compiled a guidebook of all my favourite activities – it'll keep you busy for two weeks straight whatever the weather. ACTIVITIES In the village (1 mile): Ski Resort (Schlick 2000), Paragliding, Indoor climbing wall, Outdoor rock climbing, 8km extreme day & night sledging, Apres Ski, Ice skating, Ice hockey, Snowshoe walking, Cross country skiing, Curling, Shooting, Mountain biking, Hiking, Mountain lakes, Leisure park, Adventure highwire park, Rafting, Beach volleyball, Mountain-boarding, BBQ, Scenic tram ride, Tennis, Sports Hall, Indoor waterworld & spa. Cyclable (10 miles): Golf, Olympic bobsleigh & skeleton, Innsbruck, Klettersteig, Ritterkuchl, Bungee-Jumping, Rafting, Canyoning, Breweries, Summer toboggan, Mountain Karting, Paintballing, Mountain lakes, Beach volleyball. Drivable (> 10 miles): Stubai Glacier, Area 47 Extreme Waterpark, Aquadome Sauna & Spa, Neuschwannstein Castle, Indoor Surfing, Frozen Waterfall Climbing, Alpine zoo. In winter there's a free shuttle to take you to the resorts in the valley. In summer there's also a bus to take you around (but you have to pay a little). You could rent bicycles (or e-bikes) to cruise along following the valley's meandering river to the stunning mountain lake (Kampler See) to sunbathe, or play beach volleyball / frisbee / football / cards / boules. There aren't many more beautiful places than that in the world (believe me - I've spent 6 years on the road in 75 different countries).. Innsbruck is 10 mins drive away in a car, 30 mins by bus, or a stunning 1 hour tram ride winding through beautiful mountain villages. We do have limited parking - please contact us if you plan on bringing cars! You will probably have to park in the underground car park in Fulpmes centre (Google Maps: Eisarena Fulpmes). It's €6 per day. There is a Stubai Tourism Tax of €2,80 per person, per day - in addition to the room rate. This can be paid in person upon arrival / departure. Note: There's one thing - in the 'Family Bedroom', one wall is shared with a factory next door. They can start bashing around as early as 7am(!!) so you may be woken up early (well, only mid-week and when it's not holidays, anyway!).
