These paintings-prints were executed by a professional painter artist and is considered to be the pieces of art. Unfortunately, not removable... Carefully chosen colours create an exceptionally pleasant ambience and the professional photos on the walls, executed under the supervision of the owner, will introduce you to the famous Hungarian artists. The modern furniture combined with authentic antique furniture will provide you with full comfort and will please your heart with aesthetics. You will be amazed to see how much charm the authentic blue bride's box from 1909, that presently serves as a TV table, brings to the apartment amongst other antique pieces of furniture. This apartment was fully refurbished in 2016 to the highest western standard. This five stars, luxury apartment has a large bedroom with high King Size bed. The bedroom has a separate entrance from the hallway. The luxurious bathrooms are designed with walk-in rain showers. In the cosy living room, there is a very comfortable sofa bed. This apartment could accommodate up to 4 persons. -------- BEDS -------- There is a high, American style King Size bed with comfy, thick, string-mattress and comfortable, warm blankets and soft linen. The living room has a double convertible sofa bed. ------------- KITCHEN ------------- The kitchen is fully equipped and provides all cooking appliances with the ultra-modern sensors electric stove. There is a fridge/freezer, built-in microwave oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, water kettle and selection of teas. The dining area has a big table with four seats where you can sit and look out on the Old Town streets. Equipped with a washing machine and dryer combo. ------------------- THE BUILDING ------------------- The house in which the apartment is established is worthy of attention: it is a historical monument and it belongs to Hungary's national heritage. This beautiful apartment house was built in 1860. On the ground floor, a textile monopolist Paul Bramer establish a luxurious textile shop that sustained its status of luxury even in Socialist times. Recently the shop was renovated diligently preserving its authenticity and opened the top-designers shop under the name ICONS BY BIZANC (a few years ago won the prize of the most beautiful shop in Budapest). Even if you would like to avoid shopping it is worth to sneak in and get a flavour of that time when Budapest witnessed an enormous economic development and luxurious life started to be more and more present in the households of many manufacturers. And it seems that the house could not avoid a bliss of luxury: the first Miss Hungary, Boshke Simon (who won the crown in 1928 elections in Budapest, and next year she became the Miss of Europe in Paris was a resident of this house for decades as she married to high society person and the owner of the textile shop Paul Bramer. They were living in the second-floor apartment just one-floor below. The area is famous of it's astonishing, historical buildings, the lovely dining places and hip cafés. The great thing about the location is that it can't really be more central, so you reach basically everything in a short walk. Yet it's in a small, silent pedestrian street (no car traffic) and since the apartment is facing the street, there is absolutely no noise disturbance (thanks to upper floor + heavy soundproof windows + shutters) of Budapest's busy nightlife. If you go for the sights, you'll get to most of them in 2-10 minutes walking range. If you go for the parties, we are just at the border of the famous party district, the Jewish district with its very vibrant and busy nightlife, great bars and amazing food places (5 min walk). The location basically is one of the BEST in the city, you can be by the River Danube in just 1-2 minutes and see the wonderful panoramic views on offer.
