Dar It-Torri - (Tower house) is an original Watch Tower beautifully converted into a wonderful holiday home set on 3 floors. At the entrance of this unique house is a mill room, still with its original stone work, now converted into a cosy living area complete with a sofa and TV, overlooking the private pool and sundeck area. A small kitchenette is available in the pool area since full kitchen is located on 2nd floor. At ground floor there is also the first double bedroom with a separate complete bathroom and a sofa bed ideal for 2 children available on request at an extra charge of € 10 per night per person. An iron spiral staircase (not ideal for infants or persons with limited mobility) a feature in itself, joins the first living area with the first floor where there is situated the 2nd double bedroom, complete with another separate bathroom. The large terrace on this floor leads to the centuries old tower room accessible only by external stairs (5 steps). The tower room, giving unique character to this house, is the actual tower house which served for many years as the sleeping quarters for the duty guards. This room has now been beautifully converted into a fully equipped kitchen complete with dining room and living room area. Kindly note that this unique property is situated adjacent to a very small farm (as seen on google maps) and depending on the wind there might be some farm smells. Property is located inside an alley, there is around a 30 meters walk. Pool Dimensions - 5.8 x 3 Meters Cancellation Policy Additional services: Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with Two towels per person - which will be placed on the beds ready for use. We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay. Maid service is included when you book for 8 nights or more. Air conditioning is available at an extra charge. The 2 bedrooms and kitchen ding and living room are equipped with AC units that are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins) installed at property with a screen to display the credit remaining, each AC unit consumes around € 2 per night. Kercem the village in which the accommodation resides is a small, with population of approximately 1,700 people. The property is situated in a very calm and tranquil area. The closest beaches are Xlendi and Dwejra bay where the famous Azure window was situated. The diversity of the island makes it unique, because of its size you are practically from one side to another in just 10 minutes. In the morning you could be visiting historical sites; like Ggantija, Citadella and enjoy the afternoon at the beach - The most famous of course Ramla beach with its red sand. Fully refundable security deposit A mandatory fully refundable security deposit of € 400 for private pool properties and € 200 for properties with shared pool is needed to cover for any damages (excluding normal tear and wear) or/and missing items and will be charged from the card on file with the rest of the amount due 2 weeks before arrival date. This amount will be refunded automatically within 7 days of checkout. Baron Holiday Homes have 48 hours from checkout to report any damage or missing items to guest in writing.
