This 3 story ‘Tardis’ in the centre of York is perfect for entertaining and enjoying company as well as being in the heart of York. Based over three floors, the entrance leads you up the first flight of stairs to the first two king (or twin beds on request) bedrooms, the first bedroom over looks the city walls and the second bedroom over looks the garden. All rooms have brilliant secondary glazing so even though you are in the heart of York it is still quiet, combined with the hotel quality, crisp, white bedding you are sure to enjoy a good nights sleep. There is also a bathroom with a large walk in shower - complete with fluffy, white towels and toiletries to use during your stay. As you enter the main living space on the ground floor you’ll find a unique space with wine box shelving, penny splash back and modern kitchen. There is a large dining table with seating for 8 and 43" Toshiba 4K Smart TV. The kitchen has all the essentials you would need to cook a meal or enjoy a take away, with a large American style fridge with ice machine- this space is perfect for entertaining. On arrival you will be welcomed with a tea and coffee hamper and not forgetting a traditional cake to enjoy during your stay! Then heading down into the cellar, with the original brick work and stone steps, along with treasured finds we discovered while renovating the house - there is loads of character to be found! Here you will find the third double room with views of the courtyard, there is also a second toilet and of course the cinema room! The cinema room is a brilliant space - there are large comfy sofas to relax in. The screen is hidden in the celling but can be brought down by the touch of a button to watch your favourite film after a busy day in York (you have access to Amazon video and a Blue Ray player if you would like to bring any of your favourite films) PARKING: We also provide a parking permit so you can park for free on the street just outside the house.
