Ancient Manor House surrounded by an orchard and olive groves

This ancient manor house spread over three levels is located in the heart of the green hills of Tuscia Romana, near a small Etruscan necropolis and approx. 2 km from the small village of Vitorchiano. Inside this spacious house you will find a large living room with piano, a library with access to the garden. The impressive dining room with beautiful antique furniture equally offers the opportunity to step directly into garden. The house boasts a lovely porch with table and ideal for outdoor dining. There is also a rustic yet perfectly functional eat-in kitchen with working fire place. The house offers a further ten charming bedrooms that vary in size and nine bathrooms. This property has been nicely renovated and decorated with comfortable furnishings to complement this historic building. On the first floor is a suite consisting of two adjoinig bedrooms, one of which is a double room, the other a triple room. Please note: the property is accessed via an automatic gate. The house is on the top of a small hill, it is surrounded by meadows, a fruit orchard and olive groves. The beautiful pool has separate children’s pool (4 x 4 m- depth 1, 20 m). Upon request and local payment it is possible to organize spa treatments, breakfast service, lunches and dinners, cooking lessons and guided tours (archeological itineraries, lakes, thermal baths, culture, food and wine). On request and for a fee, it is possible to have additional 7 sleeping facilities (single sofa beds). Places of interest include: Horseback riding stables 1 km, 2 km the medieval hamlet of Vitorchiano (various shops), which overlooks a deep gorge, and is still protected by its city walls dating back to the 14th Century. Quiet position and good starting point for trips to: Viterbo 7km, Tuscania 25 km, Tarquinia 32 km, Orvieto 40 km, Rome 70 km, Norchia 18 km, rich in Etruscan finds and tombs. In the radius of 25 km there are three volcanic lakes: Vico, Bolsena and Bracciano. Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 5.00 per person or bring their own. Consumption costs are not included in the room rate and will be charged according to guest use within 3 weeks after check-out. Up to 3 pets are allowed.
