Sleeps seven. (Three singles, one double bed, two electric inflatables). 7 nights minimum during high season. Changeover day is Sunday. Please DM to negotiate long weekend "Lovely location, beautifully peaceful and clean house. Thank you Brian for the mackerel". Wayne Witford. Pluckley. June 2021. "What a tonic! Sun, swims and family reunion, after such a long year. Many thanks". The Cooper family. London. April 2021 "A wonderful and magical little place by the river, we had a lovely few days at Treetops and even in the March winter/spring weather, it was perfect, surrounded by nature, the stars and the river , we loved it...." Abi. March 2020 "What a simply lovely place. Very comfortable and clean. Would love to come again in the summer to appreciate the view." Sandra and Jon. Taunton. Feb 2020 "Great location, fantastic garden this property is a rare find." Peter, Bude, November 2019 "It's a warm, old world bungalow in a great location. There are fantastic walks (Cornish coastal path is nearby) plus the sea and Helford River. We loved the living room with views of the river plus wood-burner and comfy chairs." Geoff, Marsh Balden, October 2019 "Another wonderful holiday at Tree Tops. We love it here" Lydia, Birmingham. August 2018 "Fantastic stay & Tree Tops delivered beyond our expectations." Martin, Australia. June 2018 "What a wonderful, magical place; so homely. We could just stay here forever." Stuart, Essex. April 2018 "The best place for a family holiday I have ever been to". Mike, Hemyock, Devon, June 2017 Tree Tops is a self-catering cottage set in two acres of magnificent and very private gardens, overlooking the picturesque Cornish village of Port Navas on the Helford River. The garden is big enough to play any sports; the old grass tennis court is perfect for badminton or tennis, if you don't mind an uneven bounce. My own kids have charged around all week (we take our annual vacation at Tree Tops in August) with footballs and rugby balls and badminton, building dens, exploring the woods, and joining us in the evenings to visit the pubs on the river for dinner. Simply sitting on the lawn enjoying the peace, privacy, and wonderful views will recharge your batteries. At night you can stand, or lie, on the lawn and stare at the stars. The only sound you will hear is the stream, occasionally interrupted by an owl looking for prey. The cottage comprises one twin bedroom and one bedroom with a double and a single bed. There are two additional self-inflating blow-up beds. The well-appointed kitchen including a pantry and scullery. The bathroom has a bath and an electric shower. The cosy sitting room has a wonderful view of the village and creek, and a log-burning fire for warm, homely evenings. All accommodation is on one level. Guests can visit the many nearby attractions of South Cornwall, such as Falmouth, Helston, Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens, Helford, Lands End, Minack Theatre, Kynance Cove, St Micheal's Mount, Porthcurno, Porthleven, and all the villages and coves on the Lizard Peninsula. Boats can be hired locally to explore the creeks, beaches and pubs on the Helford River. Owners of dinghies can keep them at Tree Tops and launch them from the nearby slipway, or rent a pontoon space at the Yacht Club. There are so many places to visit on land and on water that guests will never run out of new excursions to enjoy each day of their stay. With its beautiful gardens set back from and above the village, stunning views and short walk to the Yacht Club (excellent food and company), Tree Tops is the ideal venue for your holiday. If you do visit, be sure to book a table at the club well in advance as it is usually fully booked. Changeover day is Sunday so, if you would like to book a week, please book Sunday to Sunday. Bed linen & towels are provided. The cottage is professionally cleaned after you leave, including best practice for covid protection. Bookings which have to be cancelled due to covid will be refunded. The garden is a huge lawn with many interesting features, including an old tennis court which is great for family badminton. Behind the cottage is a secret wood where few people ever go. You have complete privacy, and the best view in the village. Low season starts at £390 a week and high season £2000. We are happy to negotiate long weekends so please email if you are interested. Changeover day is Sunday, so weekly bookings are Sunday to Sunday.
