Chalet Hochmatt

The simple mountain community of Jaun - Im Fang is located in the uppermost part of the rural Gruyère region (near Lake Gruyère). Pure air and tranquility will make your stay unforgettable. Chalet Hochmatt is located slightly above and therefore offers a wonderful view of the hills of the Gruyère region and the roofs of the other chalets. The kitchen, made of dark wood, offers a coffee machine, a dishwasher, an electric stove with an oven and a microwave. The access to the living / dining room is generous and you will find a fireplace here for cosy evenings in. In addition to a stereo system, WiFi and CD player, the chalet is also equipped with a TV and DVD device. Of a total of four bedrooms you will find 3 on the upper floor, which have a sloping ceiling. Access to the upper floor is possible via a wooden staircase in the living area. You have to bring your own bed linen and towels. The final cleaning is compulsory and must be paid together with the visitor's tax on site. Apartment ZFR002 is located in the same building, on the ground floor and offers space for 6 people. On the shared property you will find 2 parking spaces as well as garden furniture. Summer The hiking possibilities in Jaun are numerous, with approx. 15 circular hikes in the pure mountain air and in the silence of nature. A walk from Jaun-Zur Burggrotte and back only takes about 30 minutes. If you want to be on the road longer, you can hike back to Jaun via Euschelspass-Schwarzsee-Riggisalp, for example, and indulge in the wonderful nature for around 6 hours. If you decide to spend summer holidays in this wonderful region, then you almost have to visit the Maison du Gruyere, a wonderful show dairy. Located at the foot of the Gruyères Castle, you can see how Le Gruyère AOP is produced, a great experience for young and old. And should it get too hot - enjoy a swim in the beautiful Schwarzsee. Shortly before the Schwarzsee you will find another waterfall, which is definitely worth visiting. Winter The fine and small ski area around Jaun is suitable for skiers of all categories and ages. At an altitude of 1580 meters above sea level, the area has around 25 km of ski slopes and 3 ski lifts. A ski school also ensures that the little ones can build on their skills within a few days and prove them later.
