There is a playground in the immediate vicinity of the house. During your stay, spend some time exploring the town of Ruiselede and its surrounding areas. Take a walk through the moorland in the De Gulke Putten nature reserve, 7 km from the house or visit the Castle of Poeke, 6 km away and the Ooidonk Castle, 18 km away. The castle of Poeke is the starting point of the Poekebeekroute, a beautiful bicycle route that runs through rural villages, forests and past old mills and farms. You can also visit Ghent and Bruges, two inviting cities with many historical monuments, good shopping areas and a vibrant nightlife.
