Located on the headland between Boomerang and Blueys beach this charming home is just a 2 minute walk from ocean beaches and Blueys village. Decorated with a relaxed beach side feel, we’re sure you will love it! Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach house where you can relax and enjoy the tranquillity of The Pacific Palms. It has sweeping views north over Boomerang Beach and features a large, sun-drenched patio where you can barbeque and take in the beautiful surroundings. Much time can be spent on the balcony watching the dolphins and whales go by while sipping on a chilled glass of wine. There is a smart lock on the front door so there are no issues with keys. The beach house is ideally situated on the headland just meters from Boomerang and Blueys Beaches, 2 very popular surfing spots. It is an easy stroll to the shops, cafes and restaurants. Features include beach view lounge, dining and kitchen area opening onto a sundeck with BBQ, overlooking the surf and sand. The kitchen has a microwave and a dishwasher. It has a TV/DVD system both upstairs in the living room and downstairs in the rumpus room. It has 1 double bedroom with a double size bed and a 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds upstairs and downstairs there is a double room with a queen sized bed. There are 2 bathrooms one has a bath/shower, toilet and the second bathroom has a shower and toilet. Downstairs has a rumpus room with a pull out sofa bed. It is an ideal kids retreat! There is a laundry with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Please bring your own sheets (one queen set, one double set and two twin sets) and towels. Linen and towels can be hired from local businesses. It has an enclosed garden courtyard with outdoor bamboo shower set in the shade of the trees. It is a short stroll to the beaches, shops and cafes. A one minute drive to Elizabeth Beach and Wallis Lake and Shelly Beach for those who prefer to au-natural swim and sunbake. It is a 15 minute drive north to Forster where you can indulge in some retail therapy and experience the award winning restaurants. The region referred to as Pacific Palms is defined by water and is a nature lover's paradise full of family friendly adventures and spectacular events. This beautiful part of the coast is a blend of perfect beaches, dazzling lakes, national parks, scenic outlooks, wide expanses of forest, great cafes serving wonderful coffees and many interesting places to shop and eat. It is a 3 hour drive north of Sydney and a 1 and 1/2 hour drive south to Newcastle airport and train station. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES Specific Attractions include :- Elizabeth & Shelly Beach Situated at the northern end of Pacific Palms, Elizabeth Beach is a patrolled beach. Both beaches provide well protected swimming and at Shelley Beach clothing is optional so you are able to swim and sunbake au natural if that is your preference. The area is surrounded by Booti Booti National Park which offers sensational walking tracks and some of the best views in the region. Boomerang Beach Pacific Palm's best surfing beach with rock ledges helping to form great waves. It plays host to surfing competitions and is a magnet for surfers. The beach is 'boomerang' shaped and is ideal for swimming with protection from prevailing winds at either end. It is also a patrolled beach providing safe swimming for all. Blueys Beach Alongside Boomerang Beach is Blueys Beach another perfect surfing and swimming beach. There is no beach patrol on Blueys. Smiths Lake It is situated between Wallis and Myall lakes and offers warm, calm waters separated from the ocean by a sandbar formation. It is an ideal place to swim, fish, kayak, sail, and ski or hire a boat and paddle around. Fishing boats and jet skis are also allowed. Seal Rocks Seal Rocks is a small, sleepy, isolated, fishing village with a magnificent view. It is a 10 minute drive south of Boomerang Beach. There are beach options to suit all and the diving is sensational and is one of the few places to see grey nurse sharks. The Sugarloaf Point lighthouse is a short walk which provides breathtaking views. Green Point Green Point is a small village on the edge of Wallis Lake midway between Forster and Pacific Palms. The landscape is dominated by sand dunes on 7 mile beach, Booti Booti National park and Wallis Lakes. Along the shoreline there are beautiful walks and an access point for boat and sailing enthusiasts. Forster/Tuncurry Situated at the Northern tip of the Great Lakes, these twin towns are where Wallis Lake meets the ocean. The towns are surrounded by National Parks and headlands and long beaches. Activities include boating, fishing, diving, paddling, cruises and whale watching. It also provides a unique shopping experience plus many award winning restaurants. Activities Activities are endless diving, snorkelling, surfing, fishing, mountain biking, bushwalking, 4WD, golf, horse riding, whale and dolphin watching, kayaking quiet lakes as the sun sets or just relaxing on the property's north facing deck overlooking Boomerang beach with a chilled glass of wine. It is the perfect retreat. Activities include: Surfing Pacific Palms is famous for its surfing beaches and with so many beaches to choose from there is always a wave to catch. It is also home to some of the biggest surfing and life saving competitions in the State. Fishing It is well renowned as a fishing haven for enthusiasts. You can plan to go on a deep sea charter, hire a boat or try your luck at the many beach and lake 'fishing spots'. Charlotte's Head is famous for its rock fishing and anglers camp out there to catch blue finned tuna and kingfish. Other water activities include diving, boating paddling and whale and dolphin watching. 4WD Pacific Palms has forest tracks and long stretches of beach perfect for 4WD exploring. Spend a day out on sandbar beach swimming, fishing and boating. As the sun begins to set light a fire and watch the pelicans feeding in the lakes while sipping on cold champagne. Bush & Beach Walks Walking tracks and trails are suitable for all abilities from the challenging coastal walks to beautiful lakeside routes. There are incredible views of the varied landscapes. A must do is Whoota Whoota lookout in Wallingat National Park. From this vantage point you can see the great lakes and its river systems plus a stunning view out to sea. Cycling & Mountain Biking There are plenty of rolling trails and challenging track and road rides to keep your heart racing and blood pumping. Shopping Within Pacific Palms and the Great lakes there are quirky antique and home wares shops, art and craft galleries, surf shops and plenty of retail therapy opportunities. Markets There are plenty of markets around the area but a must do is the Pacific Palms market on The Lakes Way every last Sunday of the month. The markets showcase quality handmade, home grown and home baked products. The colourful stalls include jewellery, art, craft, clothes, candles, plants, vegetables and beautiful body products. Restaurants Wide range of superb restaurants but must experience a sunset by the lake at Pacific Palms Recreation Club where you can enjoy a dinner and a glass of wine.
