Situated on the top floor, accommodating a maximum of six adults and having 83 m2 total floor space Apartment Nine's has 2 double bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with two single beds. There is also a separate space which has a single bed, which extends to a double when required. Please note that this is not a separate bedroom it is an area off the hallway separated by a curtain, It is at the end of the hallway so not an area that is walked by to get access to the main living areas and bathrooms. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge. The lounge is equipped with two sofas, TV with Freeview channels, DVD player and there is also a log burning fire. From the lounge windows you have great views across the city to Clifford’s Tower in the east and you can see the City Walls from the lounge windows on the west side The kitchen is just off the lounge and is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and has granite work surfaces. The dining area has a large table and seats 6 people comfortably. Although there is a lift this doesn't go all the way to the top and there are a couple of narrow flights of stairs to climb, please contact us directly to discuss any access concerns prior to booking. Priory House is situated within the City Walls just off Micklegate a few minutes walk from the station and York Race Course with all the major historic buildings, museums, attractions, shops, restaurants and bars right on the door step, but having the advantage of being tucked away in a quiet side street. We have a choice of three apartments available in the building for short term holiday rental, all are slightly different in size and layout (please see check the details to find the one most suitable to your needs) but all come with fully fitted kitchens, stylish dining areas and comfortable lounges and are furnished and decorated to a high standard to offer flexibility, quality and comfort. You will have access to free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, flat screen TVs, iPod docks, USB chargers. All of our apartments are strictly NO SMOKING in all parts of the building and have two bathrooms and king sized beds in the master bedrooms. We provide linen and towels and a child’s cot is available on request. We have a limited amount of secure off street parking available (additional charges apply) that can be reserved at the time of booking. If you haven't visited York before, or if you haven't been for a while, you will find a City that is still proud of its past, but history now sits alongside stylish cafes, bars and restaurants. Top attractions and a growing sense of culture among the narrow half-timbered streets support the claim that York can rival any City in Europe as a tourist destination. Whether you stay for a short break or longer Priory House makes and ideal base and you will have plenty to keep yourselves occupied and the joy of York is that it doesn’t have to depend on the weather so is ideal for that short winter break to recharge your batteries.
