At the crossroads of Brittany and the Loire, on the outskirts of a rural village, this traditional detached longhouse has been completely refurbished to comfortably accommodate a party of 6. Downstairs the rooms are cosy, with beamed ceilings and wood-burning stoves. The house benefits from its own 200m² private garden, and from early April to late September you will enjoy the pool which is shared with the owners. The coast of Brittany with La Baule or St. Malo, are within easy reach. The holiday property is also well placed for the Loire Valley, with Ancenis and Angers the first ports of call for a château or some wine tasting, or explore the lesser known Breton châteaux at Fougères and Vitré. Closer to home is the very pretty market town of Martigné-Ferchaud, and Châteaubriant, the local historical capital, has much to see.
