The region's forests, meadows and fields are perfect for hiking or relaxing. The large garden with terrace invites you to linger, lounge in the sun or make use of the grill. Children can frolic around and enjoy the the play equipment. In the immediate vicinity you'll find a wide variety leisure activities and numerous attractions. The World Heritage city of Quedlinburg is definitely worth seeing, but a ride on the narrow-gauge railway up the 1100m high Brocken is a wonderful experience. Numerous well-marked hiking trails will make you want to explore the scenic beauty of the Harz on a hiking tour or by bike. Recommended excursions: Berg-Erlebniswelt-Wurmberg (family adventure world), the Samson Pit (museum) in St. Andreasberg, Adventure Golf Park, Braunlage.
