Entertain or relax around the pool and fire pit. This beautiful private rural retreat has plenty of space for two families or large groups. A year round entertainer, Broughton Ridge is ideal in the summer with it's swimming pool and easy drive to the beach and also in the winter with the fire pit and log fires ( only available during the winter months) What to expect- Broughton Ridge is a quirky, country property. She does not pretend to be luxurious but she is comfortable and clean. Please expect creepy crawlies and the odd possum running across the roof! The space Broughton Ridge is a very private rural retreat ( approximately 10 minutes drive from Berry) with spectacular views from the ridge to the rear of the property. The attractive gardens surrounding the house are carefully maintained and offer a great setting to relax and unwind in. There is an undercover dining area around the pool and a fire pit area with lovely views over the valley. There is also a covered BBQ area with Weber BBQ in a secluded spot at the rear of the property overlooking the pool. Broughton Ridge has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a separate toilet in the laundry which sits adjacent to the property. We have a large living room which is perfect for entertaining. The room is cosy with a wood burner and ceiling fan. We have a smart TV with Dvd player and a selection of Dvds for your enjoyment. We also have a large selection of books and games for the children. Bedroom one has a queen bed, ensuite ( with shower) and built in wardrobe. Bedroom two has a queen bed. Bedroom three has a queen bed with large ensuite ( with bath). Please note that Bedroom three is accessed via Bedroom four ( the bunk room) Bedroom four is a large bunk bedroom that contains 2 double bunk beds and 4 single bunk beds ( ideal for the children). There is another large bathroom adjacent to the kitchen. We also have a dining room (with wood burner), gas heater and ceiling fan. The adjacent kitchen is well equipped with a large electric oven and 6 burner gas hob. We also have a separate laundry for your use if you need, equipped with a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Broughton Ridge has two wood burners ( one in the living room and one in the dining room). We also supply oil heaters for the bedrooms. In the summer, free standing fans are provided. Please note the property does not have air conditioning. We have open air parking for up to 5 cars at the main house. All linen is provided, if you would like to use the unheated pool please bring your own pool towels. You will be provided with a supply of wood, firelighters and matches for the winter months. Guest access The house can accommodate additional guests for an additional charge. Please make an enquiry. Interaction with guests We live in Sydney and Broughton Ridge is our much loved holiday home. Sam, our friendly local handy man is available 24/7 if there is an issue at the property. Other things to note There is Telstra mobile reception at the property and we have Wifi. There is also a landline at the property which is available for guest use for mobile and national calls only.
