A traditional & peaceful country estate set amongst long established vineyards, close to the coast and river. Come meet our annual migrating black swans that make the lake their winter residence. Has outdoor decks with a pool and an under cover outdoor living area, a theatre room and a games room and several dining and lounge rooms and outdoor settings. 4 bedroom have their own ensuite and the 5th bedroom has a common bathroom directly next door.. Those using the sofa bed would also use this common bathroom. You can choose to be part of a group or spend time on your own for reflection. Mystique Country House, in Coolangatta NSW, is a large north facing home set on quality rural land. This beautiful architecturally designed house, built in 2007, is modern and has unique design features. It is built all on one level. It is surrounded by lake and has the magnificent backdrop of Mt Coolangatta. Every room in the house has windows and/or sliding doors overlooking country scenes of lake, mountain or rural land and trees. The property has an easy flow between indoor and outdoor living and supports comfortable living all year round. The atmospheric presence of the lake and mountain adds much intrigue and mystery to your experience of staying at the property. The house is very private and well set back from the lane. You drive along a charming country lane beside the vineyards in the approach to the property. This area is very central to many towns and country and coastal areas. Mystique Country House is a luxurious South Coast, NSW vacation house or retreat providing quality accommodation for holidays and weekends away with friends and family. It is strictly not a venue for events or parties under any circumstances. But this house is very suitable for a family wedding group to stay. We strictly do not do weddings or events - no exception Mystique has been furnished with everything brand new, including the air conditioning unit which produces great temperature control in all seasons for this large house. Special Features of the House General features • The house generates a sense of peace and beauty being far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and being set amongst nature. As well as the rural areas beaches, bays and rivers are all nearby. • A house providing space for privacy and enjoying your own space. 4 bedrooms with their own ensuite are very self- contained. A 5th bedroom has a common bathroom next door. This common bathroom can be used by those sleeping on the sofa bed in the 6th bedroomi in the theatre room with door. The 6th bedroom allows 11 or 12 (instead of 10) guests to come at an extra cost of $75 per 1 or 2 people per night. Sofa is converted from a lounge to a bed in this instance. • The house is built on one level and there are no internal steps. • Ducted air conditioning to all living areas and two main bedrooms. The air conditioning is a powerful unit and very warm in the winter months and effectively cools the house in summer. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Heaters are in all the bedrooms. • Unlimited Wi Fi with 2 extensions connected to NBN. And also Foxtel Sports and Movies. 2 DVD players. Hi-FI stereo. Pool table and outdoor setting in large garage. • Solid quality imported timber floors, two cathedral ceilings and high ceilings right throughout. • Extensive outdoor decks containing a beautiful 10 metre solar heated (Oct-April) swimming pool close to the house ( plus hose) and an under cover outdoor eating area, both with views of the lake and sounds of nature. • Set amongst established gardens and park-like grounds. Majestic Black swans and friendly ducks abound in the lake. Swans migrate annually-they always return to the same winter home. It is wonderful when they return, The Kitchen • A fully equipped modern kitchen with all modern appliances and amenities. • Ceasarstone benches, large European gas cook top stove, large electric oven. European fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Scanpan saucepans . • Nespresso machine (BYO pods), Nutri-bullet machine, double sided toaster and sandwich maker machine., coffee grinder, coffee plungers. • All crockery and cutlery supplied. Wine glasses, champagne glasses, drinking glasses, plastic outdoor glasses. • Lots of cooking utensils. • Lots of cupboards and deep drawers. • Has ducted air conditioning. The Dining Room next to the kitchen • A formal white dining room or breakfast room with a white marble dining setting and white leather chairs. • Views out over the front garden to Mt Coolangatta and towards the lake. • Table seats eight. • This is a private and relaxing room set aside on its own. • Ducted air conditioning. Informal Sitting Room • Overlooks the lake, garden and pool through wide sliding doors onto a timber deck. • Italian leather lounges, polished cement top coffee table, • Ducted air conditioning. • A wall mounted television. Can watch the TV from the kitchen. DVD player. Formal Lounge and Dining Room • Large stunning formal lounge and dining room with recliner leather lounges and a dining table to sit twelve built privately. Hi fi Stereo. • Views through one sliding door over the expansive, eastern section of the lake and garden. • Views from the dining table through the other sliding door looking on to the outdoor deck and pool. • Ducted air conditioning. • The air conditioning effectively heats most of the house, and cools it in summer. Theatre Room • A media room with comfortable tiered seating with leather lounges and armchairs. • Includes a 75 inch flat screened television with DVD player. All are easily operated from one remote. • Foxtel Sports and Movies available . • Contains an air-conditioning unit - heating and cooling. • Room can be blackened during the day. • Contains extra seating in the form of a sofa bed which is only converted to a bed on request and pre-payment. Otherwise the sofa bed is locked in lounge position. So please do not come expecting you can bring 2 extra and use the sofa bed without paying in advance. Bed is available only when 11 or 12 (an extra 1 or 2 guests) guests come to the house at a cost of $75 per person per night. The bed is not available for parties of 10 or less. The theatre room has a door and doubles as a 6th bedroom if required. The cleaner assembles and disassembles the bed only. Bedrooms and Bathrooms • Five large bedrooms of which one is a master bedroom. • Four bedrooms with Queen sized beds, stylish ensuites and built in robes. • The fifth bedroom contains two king single beds and is next door to a common bathroom. • Ducted air conditioning to master bedroom and bedroom next door. • Ceiling fans in all bedrooms. • All bed linen is supplied. Sheets are all cotton. Towels and face washers are supplied. • Brand new furniture in all bedrooms. • A new sofa bed in media room can be converted to a bed for up to two people. Shares common bathroom with fifth bedroom. Comes at an additional cost of $75 per person per night but allows for twelve people to come, rather than 10. Is only available for more than 10 guests. Covered Deck Area • A large covered outdoor area with outdoor dining for ten to twelve. • Large, quality BBQ grills and trays fully washed and deep cleaned after each guest. • Stylish outdoor armchairs and seating and hardwood decking. • Scenic views over the lake, the trees and a country scene. • Peaceful outdoor space. Swimming Pool • A sparkling blue ten metre swimming pool with fence and all safety features. Council accredited for child safety. We follow the rules of no furniture in the swimming pool area. • Solar heated October to April only. • Located beside the house on a deck. Can see the pool from inside the house through a wide glass panel in the hallway. • A shower exists near the pool on the deck. Garage Area • Large triple garage area with internal access to the house. Mostly taken up with a quality pool table and entertainment setting with tables and chairs. Parking remains for 1 car only. • Plenty of off street parking on the grounds. • All easy and level access. Laundry • A laundry fully equipped with all modern conveniences and a door to an outdoor clothes line. The house is modern, with a pool, and relaxing set in a rural scene, and close to the beach and river and National Park. The area excels in rural, country, mountain, coastal, river, headland and bay regions with so much history and culture to offer. There are many wineries and the region is famous for it’s seafood and cheeses. Historic tourist towns are within 10 minutes drive away. The property is located just 2 hrs south of Sydney, and 2.5 from Canberra. REQUIREMENTS FOR Covid-19 All guests must be compliant with Covid-19 Health Orders of the NSW Government that are in place at the time of their stay at Mystique Country House. MINIMUM STAYS All Long Weekends can only be a 3 day block booking, excepting Easter, Christmas and New Year period and January School Holidays which are a 4 or5 day block booking minimum.-it is a 5 day minimum where a 5 day gap exists. All other bookings are a 2 day minimum stay., except December and January which can be longer blocks as displayed when booking..
