A large living room overlooks a large arch on the garden, the floor is handmade terracotta, the ceilings with chestnut beams. The kitchen, with thick concrete walls, is derived from an environment that communicated with the Roman cistern still in use in the garden. Antique furniture, large windows overlooking the green of the valley, a charming atmosphere full of history and the warmth of a much loved place. The house is built on the foundations of Roman baths of the ancient city of Trebula Mutuesca, born on three hills, including ours, in the third century BC, the Roman remains are visible on the walls of the house and throughout the garden (columns, capitals, frames, as well as the incredible cistern). On the ground floor there is a large living room with an oak and stone fireplace and handmade terracotta floors, high ceilings with chestnut beams divided by two flying buttresses and a third round arch opening onto the garden. The kitchen, with thick concrete walls, with deep niches and vaulted ceiling, is derived from an environment (probably thermal) that communicated with the Roman cistern still in use in the garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms furnished with antiques, large windows overlooking the garden and the valley, a large corridor, a small fireplace. On the west side, the garden overlooks the valley, offering a view as far as the eye can see over vineyards and olive groves, oak and walnut woods, to the distant mountains behind which the sky is colored with amazing sunsets. Birds of all species and small wild animals (such as foxes, squirrels and dormice) populate the area always cultivated with ecological systems. The Castellano is adjacent to the Torretta, once the two houses were part of a single building consisting of a small monastery and a lookout tower overlooking the valley. The two houses, one larger and one smaller, have large outdoor areas dedicated; in common, a garden of about one hectare, a panoramic terrace, the orchard, the vineyard and the vegetable garden, a pizza oven with barbecue, a soccer field.
