The master bedroom has ocean peeps from the king bed, TV and spacious en-suite with bath and shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and spacious bathroom with laundry. Bringing an extra teenager, no problem as we have a sofa bed in the living room. The open plan kitchen, living and dining opens out onto the deck catching the beautiful sunrises. Chill out here in between trips to the beach and downtown. The apartment has two dedicated spaces in the garage and can be accessed via the lift. Located in the fabulous Bay of Plenty, Mount Maunganui is famous for its endless white sand beach, year-round surf, Pilot Bay Harbour and beautiful Mauao. At the end of the peninsula the iconic Mauao stands elegantly at 230 meters tall. Everyone has the option of taking a leisurely stroll around the flat base. The more adventurous will have fun reaching the top and be rewarded with the spectacular 360-degree views. Downtown Mount you’ll find a laid-back strip of shops, bars & restaurants that offer all day dining most with alfresco tables…….Pick up a treat or souvenir from one of the locally owned boutiques, enjoy an ice cream or coffee, browse one of the weekly markets or soak yourself in one of the salt water hot pools or treat yourself to a papering session at one of the spas. Pilot Bay offers sheltered year-round swimming and kayaking. Picnic on the grassy shore & watch the fishermen launch their boats and cargo ships come and go. Otherwise there is a handy bus to take you further around the Mount and over to Tauranga CBD.
