There is something for everyone; the historical Fulham Palace just across the way, tennis courts the other side of the road and Craven Cottage Football stadium a mere 3 minute walk away. Bishops Park boasts a beautiful lake and is listed as Grade II in English Heritage's Register of Parks and Gardens. A farmer's market is held every Sunday. There is ample roadside parking (payment by phone) on the nearby streets. Central London is simple to get to via: Underground from nearby Putney Bridge (20mins to St. James Park), Overground from Putney Rail station (18 minutes to Waterloo), Bus from the end of the road (34 minutes to Harrods). Fulham & Chelsea offers a wide range of high end retail and fine dining, and you can follow The Famous King's Road all the way to Buckingham Palace! If sports and events are your thing, The famous Queens Club and Wimbledon Tennis Tournaments are nearby, and you have Chelsea and Fulham football clubs within walking distance. The home of Rugby at Twickenham is also easily accessible by a short train ride! The famous Eventim Apollo is just down the road in nearby Hammersmith.
