Welcome to the Gilmore Lake Getaway!

Enjo this relaxing, classic, northern getaway on Lake Gilmore. Embrace the outdoors as you grill and spend time on the deck, swimming and jumping off the dock, and then finish the night cozied up to a bonfire or the indoor fireplace. This is an especially quiet lake as there is no public access. Located just 8 miles north of famous Dorset and 7 miles from Nevis. Local towns offer a large variety of dinning to include La Pasta, Compeñeros, Zorbaz, and the Iron Horse. The Gilmore Getaway offers a beautiful walk-down stairway to the dock and lake. Clear water and sandy bottom, along with incredible bass fishing right from the dock! Both cabin bedrooms feature a queen size bed (bedding and linens provided), dresser, and bedside lamp with device charging stations. One bedroom has an available closet while the other bedroom’s closet hold the washing machine. A full bath offers both a shower or bathtub with towels, face cloths, and a few essentials provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with essential cooking items, toaster, and coffee pot. The Living room hosts a smart TV, DVD player, and an array of movies, games, and puzzles. Additional space can be found in the *seasonal* bunkhouse, featuring 2 bedrooms, one room having a full size and bed and the other having two twin beds. The cabin is located centrally between Dorset and Nevis, both towns offering a variety of restaurants, adult beverages, and treats! A short drive to Park Rapids or Walker for groceries and essential items in addition to more restaurants, breweries, and tons of shopping! Other sites and attractions include the Itasca State Park, The Heartland Trail, Evergreen Fun Park, and Summerhill Farm.
