This beautiful holiday home for five guests is located on the IJsselmeer in the city of Wijdenes. The Apple House owes its name to the many apple trees that exist on the property. The house is comfortably furnished and fully equipped. It has two bedrooms, one bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed and an extra bed. Around the house you can relax on the adjoining terrace, accessed through the French doors in the living room. Here you can enjoy the panoramic views and the nature of the sunbeds available at the house. From the cottage you can visit the historic towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. These cities are 11 km away. Hoorn is known for its many ancient monuments and canals around the centre. In addition, the cottage is only 30 km from the world famous port cities of Edam and Volendam. The area is ideal for exploring by bike. It is wonderful to cycle along the dike with a clear view of the water. A small beach is not far away and the water is relatively shallow making it suitable for children. The recently opened Marker Wadden (2018), a beautiful nature project in the Markermeer, deserves a special mention. The Marker Wattensee, which consists of five islands, can only be reached by boat. There are observation towers in several places, including the 12 m high "Steltloper", 12 km of hiking trails and long beaches with shallow water. A must for bird lovers. Use of the sauna is charged per unit (morning, afternoon, evening). Please note that: Consumption costs are included in the room rate.
