There is a large collection of DVDs, books and games available for all ages. Horse riding, white water rafting, mountain biking, paragliding and quad biking is available locally. Bagni di Lucca is 8km away with all facilities including restaurants, supermarkets, banks and a wonderful spa. The nearest shop is 1km away in San Gemignano. The nearest restaurant is 3km away in San Cassiano which also has a larger shop selling general provisions. The beautiful walled city of Lucca is a 45 minute drive and the sights of Florence, Siena and San Gimignano are all in day trip driving range. Additionally the beach at Viareggio and the ski slopes of Abetone are both within a one hour drive making this location a perfect base for all activities. Babysitting and chef service can be arranged on request and groceries can be purchased in advance so that you can arrive to a stocked fridge and cupboard.
