Lovely large house near the sea

A charming, bright, spacious, double fronted white weatherboarded coastal house, with an abundance of period features. A lovely mature sheltered garden at the back is dominated by a beautiful walnut tree, with various swings hanging from it. There is also a trampoline with safety side netting. West Wittering is a charming village with a Blue Flag beach, East Head Nature reserve, a Norman church, Snowhill Creek harbour and crabbing pool, and lovely pub. Leisure pursuits within the area, aside from the wonderful beach on your doorstep, include sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, paddleboarding, cycling, golf, tennis, riding, bird watching. Wonderful walking throughout the Chichester Harbour AONB. There is horse racing at 'Glorious' Goodwood and Fontwell Park, as well as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. The South Downs National Park is nearby as is the beautiful historic walled city of Chichester (6 miles) with its cathedral, theatre, cinema, bowling alley, leisure centre and excellent shops. Portsmouth's historic Naval Dockyard, and Arundel Castle are within 30 minutes drive. Changeover day is Friday. Arrival time after 4.00 pm, departure time before 11.00 am. We accept short lets (2 or more days) during the off-peak season, or a variation in start date. Please enquire House towels (but not beach towels) and bed linen are provided. There is an included charge of £10 per person per week for this. The house is cleaned and towels/linen changed weekly.
