The Glen is a large, spacious family house dating from the early 1800s with exposed beams, Cotswold stone walls, and wooden floors. Furnished with charming antiques and providing generous accommodation over three floors including two kitchens; three shower rooms; and an en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom; a charming dining room with window seats; and a cosy sitting room with a feature open fire and french doors to the magnificent garden, The Glen is a perfect choice in all seasons. Ideally suited to both families and groups of friends, with flexible bed configurations including two zip and link bedrooms which can be arranged as either 6' super-king size or 3' twin single beds as required. Lower Ground Floor: Sitting room A spacious room with french doors to the garden and open fire, Sony 40" LCD television with Sky Free Sat and DVD player. Second kitchen With electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and tumble dryer and a door to the garden. Shower room With walk-in shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Ground Floor: Kitchen Well-equipped with gas range cooker with a large electric oven and 5 burners, Belfast sink, large American style fridge, dishwasher, freezer and microwave. Dining room With dining table seating eight guests. Exposed Cotswold stone wall, exposed beams and original wooden floor, overlooking the delightful garden. Bedroom one With a 4’6 double bed. En-suite shower room With shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Bedroom two With twin 3' single beds which can be zipped together to form a 6’ super-king size bed on request. Blockley is a delightful golden stone village situated in the rolling hills of the North Cotswolds between Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Campden, and near Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water and well-known gardens. The village has many historic buildings, including a converted water mill along the brook. It is a peaceful village with a friendly community, centered around the café and well-stocked shop.
