The Space: Spacious and clean, Great location, easy walking distance to the many restaurants, bars and shops the Bay has to offer, as well as easy access to transport. The apartment features: - 2 bedrooms - 1 King-width Queen and 2 single beds, sleeping up to 4 persons. - Linens, towels (2 per guest) - small starter supply shampoo/conditioner/soap/toilet rolls - small starter supply of tea/coffee/milk - Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher and fridge. - Central Reverse cycle Air-conditioning - Free WIFI - Free offstreet carpark for 1 vehicle. - Electronic Keybox on site for easy self-check in. At the water’s edge you’ll notice the lights of the Marina Pier appear like stars at night, and the main street is just a short walk away from your apartment! The building itself is an old girl, built in the 70s. She isn't that pretty to look at from the outside, but she makes up for it on the inside, location and charm. Guest Access: Common area laundry with coin operated washing machines on site if required (and clothes airer in apartment). One free number allocated off-street carpark. We provide a basic starter amenities pack which includes a small amount of tea, coffee, milk, shampoo, conditioner, soap & toilet paper. Depending on your length of stay and usage, you may need to purchase additional items during your stay. The Neighborhood: Glenelg is filled with all kinds of delicious eateries, sweeteries, shopperies and bar-hopperies, and they are all just a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the apartment. Established in 1836, Glenelg is the oldest European settlement on Mainland South Australia, and did you notice something interesting about the name GLENELG? That’s right, it’s a Palindrome, which means it’s the same back-to-front as it is front-to-back. There are over 300 local businesses to choose from along the kilometre long main street that is Jetty Road, and when you’ve shopped til you’ve dropped you can reward yourself with a fabulous coffee, a glass of wine or a meal in one of our many interesting cafés or restaurants, ranging from quirky and casual to formal dining. Getting Around: Bus's, trams all easily accessible from the apartment. Don’t forget to experience a ride in one of Glenelg’s iconic trams, which take you from Jetty Road right through to the City to Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre. Other Things to Note: Please ensure you list the correct amount of persons in your booking requests because this also ensures you get enough linen included for each guest. Please note the apartment is located on the top (second) floor and is accessible by stairs only (approximately 20 steps with a landing between levels).It does NOT have a balcony, or direct views of the river.
