Rosella is a beautiful mountains cottage situated in a quiet street in one of the most picturesque areas of Blackheath. * Modern interior with stylish furnishings * Wood burning fireplace, reverse cycle air conditioning & electric blankets * Two-person spa bath * Rear deck with gas BBQ overlooking Popes Glen * Located in a quiet street, a short walk to town of Blackheath * Close to bushwalking trails * Perfect for up to two couples or small families A perfect romantic getaway for couples who enjoy luxury and privacy only one and a half hours drive from Sydney. The home is ideally located within a few hundred metres of some of the best walking tracks in the Blue Mountains and only a short walk to the township of Blackheath. The cottage has two generous sized bedrooms containing queen size beds. Both bedrooms have soft comfortable beds with dual control electric blankets and fluffy cosy doonas to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. Quality bed linen of a high standard is also supplied. Rooms are tastefully furnished with bedside tables and reading lamps. The lounge room has lovely comfortable quality leather lounges with warm throw rugs and soft pillows to sit and relax by the large wood burning fire (wood supplied). The cottage dining room seats four people comfortably and looks out onto beautiful private bush outlook. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped and has everything you could need for a stay away including stone benchtops, a dishwasher and quality stainless steel European appliances (tea, quality coffee and condiments supplied). Rosella has a new elegantly appointed modern style bathroom with quality fixtures and includes a two person spa bath and underfloor heating (towels and soaps supplied). Our laundry is internal with a front loading washing machine and a dryer. There are polished jarrah floors with large soft rugs throughout to take away that winter chill. The home has street parking and has a large rear deck with a gas barbecue which overlooks the Popes Glen in the National Park. The deck has an outdoor dining setting for four which is a perfect way to enjoy outdoor dining and the garden. The front verandah offers a table setting for two and with the peaceful outlook it makes for an ideal way to enjoy afternoon wine and refreshments while watching the sun go down. Rosella is light and bright throughout and offers a peaceful tranquil setting for total relaxation. On arrival, you will find all the little touches to create an inviting, private and cosy sanctuary of sheer tranquility and relaxation. The location of Rosella Cottage means you can easily walk to the many restaurants, cafes and antique shops that can be found in Blackheath village or you can choose to take advantage of some of the nearby walking trails which will provide some awe-inspiring views of Govetts Leap and Evans Lookout, among other interesting places. Children are welcome. This is a non-smoking property . This property is unfortunately not suitable for large pets. Rates Weekends is Fri & Sat / or Sat & Sun. Midweek = 2 nights, Weekly = 7 nights Minimum 3 night stay for Long Weekends and 4 nights at Easter. Check in 3pm check out 11am (complimentary late check out by arrangement)
