Villa 27 South Shores - Best Located & Privacy

This beautifully appointed 3-bedroom beach villa is the best-located at South Shores, right by the beach-access boardwalk, the picturesque park and the swimming pool, yet with unusual privacy and amazing views over kangaroo-dotted paddocks and sand dunes....it is perfect for a family holiday or a romantic getaway. The Villa is situated within the popular gated South Shores resort and is approximately one hour's drive south of Adelaide. Nearby Normanville and Yankalilla offer cafes, restaurants, beauty spas, gift shops, golf, fishing, horse riding and more! South Shores is a gated holiday complex and offers so much for families to enjoy. There are two pools – a large pool with a surrounding deck and a smaller one, perfect for kiddies. You also have direct beach access via a private boardwalk. The gated community offers peace of mind to parents. Limited car speeds of 10 kilometres per hour allows children to enjoy their bikes and scooters on the large circular road that encompasses the complex. Other families ‘watch out’ for each other’s kids. The resort provides BBQ areas and kids' playgrounds, as well as a small bike track. There is ample parking for boats and grassed areas for cricket or footy. Villa 27 is a stand alone house and the best located within the complex - it sits along side the large grassed park, which is equipped with a basketball ring, swing set and sandpit, and is within throwing distance to the large pool and the private boardwalk to the beach. Even so, the living area is not in view of other villas - you can relax inside or on the deck in privacy. Over a glass of wine on the upstairs deck you can watch the kids play in the park in one direction, or gaze out over cattle, sheep and kangaroo-dotted paddocks to beautiful sand dunes in the other, feeling like you are the only person there. The Villa offers three large bedrooms. Downstairs features two bedrooms: one with a queen size bed and the other with 5 bunkbeds (1 x single/single, and 1 x single/double) - perfect for up to two families. There is a large bathroom and laundry (equipped with a washer and dryer) and the double garage is utilised as a rumpus room with couches, a TV and a table tennis table. Upstairs, you'll find an open plan kitchen and lounge area that leads to a generous deck with full length folding doors. When open, they bring the outside in and give a sense openness and peace. The kitchen is perfect for those who enjoy cooking. Amongst other items, it’s equipped with: • a good quality oven and cook top • slow cooker and health grill • baking items and quality knives • coffee machine and variety of herbs and spices • there is also a second fridge in the garage for bait and/or drinks The large dining table easily seats eight adults and there's a kids table for little ones. A Weber Q on the balcony means you can BBQ whilst chatting to friends as they sit at the adjacent outdoor setting. Off the lounge is a powder room. The master bedroom is very generous with a walk-through robe, large ensuite and balcony. This bedroom has plenty of room for a cot/ extra child's bed and a 'rollaway bed' is available for use. To save precious packing space in your car, we have two port-a-cots with linen, a high chair and a baby gate for the top of the stairs. There are three TV's: one in the lounge, one in the garage/family room and one in the main bedroom. We offer our guests free unlimited Wi-Fi, and the Villa is also equipped with: • kids' books and board games • some bikes and scooters (remember your helmets) • pool toys, and buckets and spades • esky The Villa has reverse-cycle air conditioning for your comfort, as well extra blankets for the cold bods. Outside there is a hot/cold outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach or pool, as well as an additional outdoor setting and relaxing swing chair on the downstairs patio. The local area provides additional things to do: • The Links Lady Bay golf course directly across Main South Rd • horse riding at neighbouring High Country Trails • a walk along the beach to Normanville, where you can grab brekky or a coffee • wander the local shops including the gift shops • head to the well-stocked Foodland for all your grocery needs. For that extra level of pamper, make sure you visit Siam Sea Change for a massage or the Links Lady Bay Day Spa. With a cleaner included in the rental fee, you just need to leave the Villa neat and let us worry about the rest. * Please note we have a minimum two night stay, and you will need to bring your own linen and towels, though we do have hotel-quality linen/towels available by prior arrangement (additional charges apply).
