Dining/Cooking The kitchen/diner is well equipped with a large oven, hob, dishwasher, an american style fridge freezer and a dining table with chairs seating up to 10 guests. French doors lead out to the side of the property. Living The main living area and snug area both provide flat screen TV's with Sky. The snug also has use of a DVD player. A sofa bed can be found in the snug, sleeping up to 2 people. The main lounge has French doors leading out to the patio and garden. There is a separate 'children's snug area' upstairs which has bean bags, TV, DVD player and Wii console (there is a stair gate at the top of the stairs) Sleeping There are 5 bedrooms in total, to the ground floor there are two double rooms and one bunk room which is a single bed over a double bed and to the first floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Bathing There is a family bathroom downstairs with bath, his & hers sinks and a separate walk in shower plus a shower room off the utility area which houses a washer/dryer. Upstairs there is a further family bathroom with shower attachment. Outside The lovely enclosed, lawned garden provides the perfect space for children and dogs to play and explore, there is a large terrace with outdoor table and chairs and a coal BBQ, as well as the new, large Hot Tub (additional charge). A useful outdoor shower area with board storage and wetsuit drying area is located tothe side of the property and there is driveway parking for 2 vehicles to the front, additional vehicles will need to be parked in the village car park which is approx. a 5-10 minute walk and daily/weekly passes can be purchased. Good To know Wifi, bed linen & bath/hand/hot tub towels are provided free of charge. We are pleased to be accredited with the Visit England 'Good to go' COVID-19 safety scheme. There is a refundable security deposit of £100 payable with the final balance or 1 week prior to arrival - please note this will not be shown in the total cost of the booking on the summary screen. The security deposit is refunded within 14 days of departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection) Full payment is due if arrival is within 10 weeks. For bookings made 10+ weeks in advance a deposit of 50% plus the £60 non-refundable booking fee is due (Homeaway/Airbnb will also charge their service fee to you upon booking). The final balance and security deposit (if applicable) is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival (Airbnb will detail the payment schedule to you upon booking). It is not possible to add any extras when booking via Homeaway/Airbnb and therefore the costs of any extras will not be included within the price shown, extras must be requested and paid for directly with Ocean Cottages. Available Extras: - Highchair - First highchair supplied free of charge - Travel Cot (Linen not provided) - £5 per week - Hot Tub - £100 per week/short break - Sofa Bed (Guests 11 & 12) - £45 per week/short break - Dogs (Max 2) - £20 per dog, per week/short break (not allowed in bedrooms, upstairs or on furniture) Please note, to ensure optimum cleanliness & hygiene of the hot tub, it will be completely emptied and re-filled with water and chemicals on your arrival day. Therefore, the hot tub may not be up to temperature until the morning after your arrival.
