Summary: Be one of the first people to stay in a beautiful 1 bed roomed apartment in the lovely area of Shawlands in Glasgow. Furnished to a high standard and close to amenities and train stations to get into the centre of town. All home comforts are catered for and I take pride in interior design so your stay will be in a great apartment and would like this to be your home from home. Look forward to you staying! The Space: This comfortable flat is situated in the Southside of Glasgow. Complete with WiFi broadband throughout and fresh linen and towels left for your stay, we always keep guest comfort in mind. The bedrooms offers good storage for clothes and belongings and the kitchen is fully equipped for all your self-catering needs. After a long day of exploring, feel free to take a relaxing soak in the shower and use any of the laundry appliances to get your clothes fresh once more. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire property throughout their stay. All check in details will be sent in advance via our electronic guidebook link. The Neighborhood: The property is located near the beautiful Queens Park. There are shops, bars and restaurants located within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. The area also benefits from multiple closeby transport links. We are also close by to some of the south's (and Glasgow's) top restaurants – Ranjit’s Kitchen for authentic Panjabi fare, The McMillan for top-notch chop-house dining, Julie's Kopitiam for masterful Malaysian cuisine or the iconic Battlefield Rest, an Italian bistro housed in one of the most stunning buildings in Glasgow. The Southside area is also packed with great pubs and bars - Our personal favourites are the Allison Arms and The Laurieston which are both super friendly and provide a great selection of drinks. If you are blessed with good weather during your time here (we have our fingers crossed!) then a trip to the fantastic Pollok Country Park makes for a great day out for everyone. Just a short drive from the property with free parking it comes packed with gardens to explore, friendly highland cows, a large children's park and the history and heritage of the Country House and Burrell Collection within its grounds. It is a picnic paradise providing a sense of open space and country scenery all within the heart of the Southside. Getting Around: Crosshill Station is a short walk from the apartment and trains run every 30 minutes into Glasgow Central Station. It takes about 10 minutes on the train. There is free on street parking directly outside the apartment. A taxi from the airport would cost approximately £25 and from the city centre it would cost approximately £8. Other Things to Note: We can arrange rental of a high chair and a travel cot if needed during your stay Please note, check in and check out is not available on the 25th of December and the 1st of January. Interaction with Guests: We like to give our guests space to enjoy their time in Glasgow but we are available should there be any issues or if you have any questions.
