Right outside the front door you can start your walk along the river into town and indulge in the fabulous cafes and eateries. Or discover the “Centre of New Zealand“ an iconic walk-up Botanical Hill. The first game of NZ rugby was played on Trafalgar Park at the base of the hill. As there is a retaining wall without a barrier and a drop to the driveway, all guests should take care in this area due to the risk of falls.
