All that’s good about the feel of the original architecture has been complemented with a refined palette of all-white interiors, rendered brick walls, natural stone and timbers. Spread over two levels, this totally relaxing home can accommodate fourteen guests, with five bedrooms (including a truly exceptional master suite) and three bathrooms. On the top level the king size master bedroom has views across the bay to Julian Rocks. The bedroom opens onto an open bathroom that combines style, function and thoughtful detail – a simply divine parents retreat. The second queen size bedroom is perfectly finished and has a separate bathroom. The bunk room with 1 bunk bed sleeping 2 is also located on this level. The lower level houses a large bunk room that sleeps 6. This bunk room flows out onto the pool area, separate games and TV area – a fun space to keep the kids entertained all holiday. Also on the lower level but away from the bunk room is a sublime queen size bedroom. This rooms enjoys views out onto the front courtyard and is a quiet and cool sleeping space. Upstairs features include a large living area with a huge comfortable sofa and opens into the eating area and kitchen. The functional full size kitchen will see you enjoy views across the bay and flows onto the first-floor balcony. The balcony is a perfect spot to gather for outdoor dining after a day on the beach. If you can turn away from the sublime views there’s a secluded resort-style pool to enjoy, surrounded by daybeds, decks and greenery to the sheltered rear of the property. No better way to spend an afternoon than reading by the pool. The property also contains plenty of parking and full laundry facilities. From Clarke’s Beach it’s just a few minutes stroll to central Byron and drawcards like the unique Julian Rocks marine reserve and the famous annual whale pilgrimage.
